Well, Christians do go around insisting that tolerance for their culture means that laws that discriminate against gays have to stay on the books.

I don’t believe I’ve ever heard or read any Christians saying that tolerance for their culture means that anti-gay laws stay on the books. Some of them certainly believe anti-gay laws should remain on the books, but I’ve never heard anyone argue that tolerance of Christianity requires it.

Feel free to bring him up. I am one of the muslim friendly WASPs you will find on the board. I dated a pretty nice guy from Morocco for a while at university, and hung out with a lot of other muslims.
