You’re offered one out of a selection of different coloured lollipops. Sure, every colour generally is flavoured differently, but one never knows for sure if the the red one is cherry or strawberry, or the green one is lime or apple flavoured. So anyway, what colour do you take?

I always pick red. Generally, I eat all the red gummy bears and leave the rest for the kids or wife, and with hard candy (not my favorite thing, but I’ll eat it sometimes) I always go with the red ones as well. My second choice would be purple…I like artificial grape flavor, and love the lollipops with the gum inside that are purple with the red bubble gum inside.
Yellow as it’s a pretty certain lemon. (If some joker made it banana flavoured I would not be happy.) Green though, if I were to know it was lime, not apple.
Red. Most likely cherry or strawberry. Both would be fine by me.
This reminds me of an anecdote told me by a friend, who was the father of two young daughters. He went to the drive in window at the bank, and at the end of the transaction, there were two lollipops that had been placed in the drawer by the teller – one red and one green. He immediately sent them back and said “You don’t have any children, do you? Give me two the same color, or the fight over them, will never end.”
Green. It is most likely lime, which I like. Distant second is apple, which I don’t dislike.
The objective, GQ-quality answer is red. Purple would also be acceptable.
Orange, yellow, and green might be orange, lemon, or lime, respectively, none of which have any appeal to me. Yellow might also be pineapple, and orange might be butterscotch, and I don’t like those either.
Purple because it will be grape and I like grape.
