With you six-slotted attack powers, try 3 damage, 1 recharge, and 2 acc debuff. If they can’t hit you, they can’t hurt you.

That sounds like a great idea for Dark toons.
I reslotted Jim Beam (level 42 MA/SR) for ED. I find I can still mow through +2 mobs, just not the big groups I used to. I also use more Inspirations than before, when I would touch them for anything less than a +2 or higher boss. The coming endurance reduction will help. Even with the endurance regen boost of Elude, Focused Accuracy with 2 end recs was slowly draining me. I was able to take out two Zeus Class Titans in one Elude cycle, plus a bunch of assorted Malta in-between.
MA has 3 attacks which can stun, so I’m altering my strategy to take advantage of that. With Disorient Duration, I’ll see if I can stack them on bosses to buy me some time.
At the other end of the ED spectrum, neither my level 22 fire/kin controller nor my level 30 rad/rad defender have anything to worry about. A few tweaks, but they were already sufficiently diverse.
I am worried about my Inv/EM tank and NRG[sup]2[/sup] blaster. My tank can still work in teams, but taking damage from a blaster whose secondary power is the miserable knockback is worrisome.
Doesn’t Energy stun as well, or is that just for Melee?
Only some of the melee attacks. All the ranged attacks do knockback. Useful at short range, but kills me at long range (where I prefer to fight) when I knock someone out of my range.
It would be great if knocking people into walls hurt them (even better if I could send them through walls). Otherwise, it’s main use is knocking melee monsters far away. Much rather that devoured spit on me than swipe me dead - one stroke, DONE!
Energy Melee in the tank line has lots of stun.
Yep, same thing happened to Brian Bloodaxe with I5. He can mow through 10 +2 Minions in three minutes, including a health break after five. I4 wouldn’t have required the break.
I’m fighting Malta and Carnival now. I need endurance breaks more than health breaks, because I always have to run when my toggles drop (thank Og for click status protection).
Another possibility for the reasoning behind the ED: the Devs could be working on more enhancement types to be introduced in I6.
Statesman let slip that one of the enhancement enhancements floating around the idea board is a 50% enhancement.
I found one post where States mentioned that 50%, also mentioned is that ED is to form a baseline for powers & enhancements. One can only hope that they plan to give one or the other a boost in a forthcoming issue.

Issue 6 is scheduled to go on to the training room tomorrow - Oct. 19th so NOW is the time to transfer your Heroes over to Test!

New fix announced: one-shotting players will no longer be possible. This means, among other things, nobody will be sent to the SC hospital by an exploding building.
Clarification: the one-shotting of players will no longer be possible. One will still be able to one-shoot mobs.
But rapid two shots can still happen!
