Warehouse 13 - Season 2

Well, they are one off episodes that air around Christmas and involve something to do with Christmas.

I  you’re

Why not a Halloween special? A Channukah special? A Ramadan special?

Well the latter two criteria make it a Christmas episode. If it’s a one-off then it’s a “Christmas Special”.

In this case, Eureka is having a Christmas Special. I don’t think anything is planned for W13. Did it even get picked up for a third season yet?

The OC had an annual Chrimukkah (Xmas + Hannukah) episode. Buffy had an annual Halloween episode. Seinfeld had that whole thing with the pole and telling people how they disappointed you. All depends on the show.

Looks like Chrimukkah for the Warehouse employees as well.

Several of the stars were at Dragon*Con this year, and absolutely nothing was said to suggest they would not be back next season.

I’ll take any excuse to post one of my favorite commercials of all time:

Happy Chrismahanukwanzakah!

Jack Kenny tweeted a couple of weeks ago that the show was definitely going to be back and the official announcement would probably be made sometime in October. I suspect he then got bitchsmacked by some executives for announcing it before all the contracts were signed or something, because he then retracted it and apologized for speaking out of place.

It’ll be back. It’s one of their top shows. It would be nice if they could make more shows like that; maybe if they got rid of the stupid wrestling they’d have more room in their line-up for, you know, SCI-FI/FANTASY type things.

Isn’t that the same bunch that canceled Firefly?

No, it’s the bunch that wouldn’t pick up Firefly after Fox cancelled.

Syfy’s sister network, USA, used to run Christmas specials for some of their shows. I know Dead Zone had one, amongst others. (Psych and Monk maybe?)

Nitpick, on the OC it was Christmakkah, not Chrimukkah. Never forget the Yamaclaus!

Buffy had three Halloween episodes over seven seasons, and never two years in a row, not really annual.

And the Seinfeld thing with the pole was Festivus. A Festivus for the rest of us!

Once Smackdown moves there (a week from Friday) it’ll probably wind up as their highest rated show. Higher than what NXT is getting now for certain. Gotta pay the bills somehow. Not to mention Kane and Undertaker aren’t really too far off the mark for a series on Syfy.

Kane, the Undertaker and Pro wrestling in gerneral are all more beliveable than most made-for-Syfy movie plots.

I stand corrected. Thank you.

IMO assuming a knowledge of HG Wells on the part of the audience of a science fiction program is fair.

Some unanswered questions I have:

How did MacPherson know about Wells? Hidden file, diary?
What became of Wells’ new invention? She started designing it before she found out the world was hell. Did she start it and complete it or it is waiting for someone to stumble upon and finish it?

Just caught up last night. I thought the Egypt episode was a little weak, but the finale was pretty good. I don’t think it will be too hard to get Myka to come back.

Oh, and my husband and I both sensed something between Myka and HG.
