Warning: Explicit descriptions of animal abuse:May These Rat Bastards Fry In Hell !

I am pretty sure that NOONE here would ‘want’ to torture these sick little sons of bitches.

It’s called venting.
It helps one deal.
‘Keeping emotions in check’ is a good way to raise your blood pressure and stress you out further.

fuck slut bitch whore assneedle!
Why has everything you’ve posted so far on this board made me want to kick you in the head? But would I? NO! I’M VENTING!

(do you understand my stance on the subject?)

Just to inject a happier note into this thread, I just heard on the radio that Westy the cat (who I mentioned on the previous page) has finally healed enough that he’ll be going to a new home today! (There was an extensive screening process and then a lottery (iirc), as so many people wanted to adopt Westy. And apparently there were $65,000.00(!!!) in donations to help Westy (I believe the extra money will go to an animal shelter).

So it’s not all bleak.

Fenris

Yeah, but the pieces of vermin who did it were were fined only $500 and given 18 months probation. Which is a whole lot less than I’d give them (probably start with a swift kick and go from there). Any idea if they were tried as adults or juveniles?

But I am glad to see that Westy’s a trooper and will be in good hands.

Yay Westy! Yay Zen! Yay!

Juvies, I believe. And you’re a whole lot nicer than I’d be. I support lighting them on fire and letting them run around in a parking lot.

Fenris

And this is what worries me. The maximum penalty these little bastards could face for the animal abuse is 1 year and/or a $20,000 fine.

Not only do I advocate giving them the maximum sentence and fine, I also want to see multiple charges of theft (of the pets) filed as well. If there are other facets, such as animal kidnapping (if it exists), transportation of stolen property, illegal disposal of stolen property, illegal use of a flammable substance, arson or any of a host of other charges that can evolve out of this crime, I would like to see them applied too.

If ever there were offenders that need to be made an example of, regardless of whether or not this is a first offense, these two are the ones. Such callous actions presage almost certain violent conduct in the future. Disregard for life to this degree is an indicator of a deep seated void in their personalities.

It is for this reason I have asked M**** and J***** to request that the judge mandate attending sensitivity training (how I hate that term) whereby these two scumbags have to encouter pet owners who have endured similar losses and confront the deprivation and rage such acts engender. Only a prolonged prison term will give these two reason to pause and think over their acts.

I am truly worried that these rotters will merely plead guilty in front of a judge at their arraignment and throw themselves upon the mercy of the court. For that reason, I am trying my best to make sure that M**** and J****** fully inform the judge of the level of loss and suffering this crime has caused. I can only hope these two cretins want to take this to a jury trial, but I don’t think any sane defense attorney would recommend it.

I just finished bindering the photos into professional sleeves and I just wanted to say:

Goddamn these maggots! I hope they make good prison wives!

What this animal went through is so horrible I cannot bear to think of it. I’m having to wipe away the tears all over again. I meet M**** and J***** for breakfast tomorrow so that I can give them the prints and photo CD’s. By then I hope that they will have had a chance to read this thread. They have said that they’ll check in here when they can, so I’m not going to reveal the other developments in the case.

I’ll just say I wish I could laminate these photos to the wall of the cell that these two wastes of skin will inhabit. The rage I feel right now goes beyond words. I’ll put it this way; The photos came out much better than the Polaroids. Thank goodness for alcohol!

I did not see this thread until this morning.

I am so sorry for those poor cats, and proud to call you my friend. And I am glad Zen is so much better.

What disturbs me about letting these kids loose on the streets after probably a year maximum, is that (I believe I have read that) this can escalate. They will probably hurt more innocent animals, and maybe people someday. I wish there were a way to keep them under surveillance, but I suppose that woudl be too much like Big Brother.

I don’t want them tortured themselves; I don’t condone torture to any living creature. But I wish there were some way to prevent them from ever doing anything like this again.

And this is why the judge will be petitioned to have the sentences run consecutively instead of concurrently. I can only hope that the $20,000 fine will be levied for each animal, but I’m not sure that is very likely to happen. It is for this reason that I am encouraging the couple to file a civil suit for punitive damages. This is also why I want there to be additional charges of tranporting stolen property, destruction and illegal disposal of stolen property plus arson added to their rap sheet. This ought to land them several years hard time each. If these two make it out of prison alive, they will spend many years thereafter in a crappy job (since they will have a felony strike on their record) earning burgerflipper wages because half of their paychecks are garnished for the fines and civil judgement against them.

I met J***** and M**** for breakfast today and we had a long talk. The depths of depravity involved are unimaginable. One simple fact bespeaks the monstrous nature of these two criminals.

They had bound two of the animals together and torched them simultaneously!

They were going to do the same with the cat they had in the car but were interrupted by the witness and could only light off one of the poor animals. For this reason alone, the crime is certainly premeditated and this was no passing joke or ill begotten lark. This was a serious crime and they were willingly involved in its perpetration. I hope they stay inside for a long, long time.

The parents of these two bastards need to take a long hard look inside of themselves and ask some very excruciating questions. I can only hope that the judge will mandate that they too must attend the confrontations between pet owners whose animals have been tortured or killed and these two little maggots. It would be good for the adults to see how much damage their children have done.

Hey, Zen, I just learned a new term today, which I think might be an apropos description of the poor-minded idjits that did this. “Rat bastards”; nah, as stated here, rats have their place. “Maggots”; gross, maybe, but they have their purpose as well, when all is said and done. “Scumbags” ;a good one, yet not quite enough.

But how about Pus Castles? Something a body does to rid itself of an invasive affront, and conjuring up the appropriate disgust factor.

Bless you again for going the extra mile in getting some justice for this case. Please don’t let hate eat you up though.

Acording to the master

I wont mention/link to how Uncle Cecil advises to get rid of rats, for fear of getting lynched.

Little late coming into the thread but I would like to applaud your actions Zenster. Your account of the cruelty inflicted upon these cats brought me to tears.

I just hope if you do get the fines to the maximum allowed that they be made to pay it and not their parents.

From a long time animal lover, thank you again Zenster. Hit 'em with everything the courts have.

Zenster, my wife just told me that the exact thing you described in the OP occurred recently 2 blocks from my house. Are you in Saratoga, CA?

The scene of the crime was right next to some railroad tracks where I walk with my sons regularly. Despicable.

This is exactly where it happened Bill. It looks like one of your neighbors is a real hero for reporting these cretins. I’d like to shake his hand. I’ll send your regards to the young couple for you. I live over in the oldest area of San Jose called the Rose Garden district, near the airport and SCU.

Elelle, hate isn’t eating me up inside, I just have an unrelenting detestation for such completely unecessary cruelty. It is pure distilled cowardice and represents some of the very worst inhumanity.

The latest news is that the city council of Saratoga and the Animal Control office of Santa Clara County have petitioned the judge to try the two perpetrators as adults. The judge also seems to take a dim view of what has happened because he has refused to allow these maggots to be released into the custody of their parents. It seems as though the entire pretrial proceedings are being drawn out rather nicely so as to allow these two to sit in jail for quite a while before they even get to enter a plea.

I only hope that they will end up having as much pain inflicted on them as they inflicted on those cats. I can’t describe how much anger I have towards those wretched perversions of the human race. They should be glad they are in jail right now instead of standing in front of me.

Zenster, you have my respect for the aid you’ve given the owners in this case. I hope that your photos are the coffin nails that seal the bastards’ fate.

i’m wondering about something. it’s been noted several times in this thread that this sort of behaviour can escalate to crimes against human beings. and while what the little fucks did to those cats is horrible almost beyond belief, it would be even worse if they’d done the same to a child. and even if you can get the maximum punishment for them, they will get out eventually.

so what i want to know is, will part of their punishment include any kind of counseling? any kind of treatment to ensure that they don’t go right back to this when they get out?

i’d hate to see a new version of this thread in a few years with the disclaimer “warning: explicit descriptions of crimes against humanity.”

fyi, from yesterday in our local paper: http://www.saratoganews.com/animal-fund-0142.html

I just saw this thread. How horrifying. This has got to be one of the saddest examples of cruelty that I have ever read where an animal is concerned. This is one of the reasons I never let my cats outside. How sad for the owners of Chubz. I hope the morons who did this get the maximum sentence and are forced to work at an animal shelter as part of their probation. Under direct supervision of course.

Bill H., thanks for the address. Donation going out.
