Don’t feel sorry for Lions fans. As gonzomax and Ol’ Gaffer said, the Lions are a rousing success. If the fans would stop happily shelling out craploads of money to watch terrible football, perhaps the Fords would be motivated to shake things up a bit. As it is, they’ve clearly got a winning formula, so why change?

I’d have been right there with you… I’m not a totally blind homer. I’ve said (maybe not on the board) that I’m not that enthusiastic about this year - we have no chance of every outcoaching anyone and rarely will we even be in the same ballpark of coaching quality, so throw a much harder schedule at us and it’s going to be a rough year.
Sunday night will say a lot.
