Well, my point is that it wasn’t junior modding. I don’t think it was an honest move. I think it was specifically dishonest. Using that card was a piss-poor excuse to extinguish behavior that was unsavory to the mod in question.

No. I made no attempt to moderate or influence the behavior of anyone, aside from pointing out general assholish behavior other than my own.

Ok, but how is the opinions of non mods indicative of the honesty of the mod in question? We can disagree with him. He can possibly even be wrong but how can we say he is being dishonest? You didn’t even ask that question but there’s no way to know. Again, it’s meaningless.
Being an occasional dick sure doesn’t seem to be grounds for dismissal but not knowing when to stop being one probably is. I’m not saying you’re doing that now but in the thread it was heading that way. If I was being a dick I’d probably rather have a warning for an unrelated offense than have my dickish behavior warned because that would mean when they’re thinking about banning me there’d be one less dick warning for them to use against me. Just saying.

The moderator note was regarding posts prior to the post he warned you for. It’s reasonable to allow the mods to read the thread in the order of it’s posts. I have no idea what offending post you refer to but it wasn’t either of the moderator notes posts 10 and 17 as the warning regarded post 28. Did you have an offending post between 28 and his warning you for it in post 40? If so, he neither noted you or warned you for it.
Are you saying that your post asking him for clarification was an offending post? I’ll admit that he should have answered you but it makes no sense that the post was an offending post or to even think he was getting even with you for it. Much more believable he was reading the thread in order and saw post 28 first. That’s how I read threads, in order. Jumping around doesn’t work for me.
If I’m participating in a forum full of dicks, I’d rather be kicked out than join. Leadership appoints moderators. Moderators moderate. If they suck at it, they should be called to the mat.
I’m just a guy, mostly reasonable. Sometimes people say stupid shit that pisses me off, like that we should pronounce foreign cities like their native citizens do. Sometimes I react and say shit like “that’s a really fucking dumb idea” and sometimes I keep my mouth shut while basking in the rays of idiocy around me.

Here’s another thing I don’t get. If you want to leave just go. Why the drama? If you’ve determined that you’re in a forum full of dicks why wait to be kicked out? I disagree with the mod action taken here on two grounds:
Really do not think this was “junior modding”. I think it was more of a personal insult—you called people douchebags, and told a moderator “fuck you”.
I think your behavior deserves a second warning.
Considering the tone you took in that thread, and then in this one, I think a flameout is in progress. If you wish to remain here, I suggest you step away from the computer, calm down, then come back in a few hours and apologize. The path you are presently on leads to banned camp.

OP was a dick (and as you say) he should have stepped away.
