I had the same thought. She has no more credibility than any other presidential spokesliar, and arguably much less than the average. I can’t see any point to articles like that, except as an effort to annoy her personally. It’s not as though she’s going to have a sudden epiphany— oh my God, my credibility with the American people is at stake— and vow to tell only the truth from now on.

Her job is to be a punching bag that dispenses bullshit, and the supply is endless.

Even though you’re agreeing with me, I’m going to disagree with you…if you’re saying SHS is a typical white house press secretary.

Press briefings have been fairly dry occasions in the past, that the public mostly heard about indirectly if anything important came up. Not the circuses we’ve seen in this administration.
And while press secretaries may sometimes twist the facts, they didn’t used to get up there and say the sky is green, and the press are a bunch of wretched liars for claiming otherwise.

I actually want to think Giuliani is playing some sort of elaborate long game, and ten years or so from now we’ll see how all the pieces were carefully designed and perfectly fit together.

But for the life of me I can’t actually think anything other than Trump has dumped a steaming turd of a case onto his lawyers, and they’re flailing around with no possible strategy to win.

I think Giuliani is screwing Trump on purpose in retaliation for not getting a cabinet post.
