You can watch “Education For Death” right here.
Max Torque I would also enjoy watching that cartoon in person. Could you email the url to me, please?
(slight hijack) When I visited the RAF Museum outside London in 1978, I was informed by one of the officials that the gift shop was especially popular with German tour groups, who would flood the place, buying WWII-related items and smuggle them back to der fatherland.
This is crackpot. Disney did not make live action films in the 1930s.
I tried to watch Education For Death, but was unable to. First, ifilm did a “one time system check” then said the film wasn’t found. When I tried again, it did the “one time check” again and this time asked me which player I wanted to use. Then nothing. I tried a third time, did the one-time check again, chose my player again, and then got what looked like a Real Player screen with a choise of other films – but Education For Death didn’t play so I gave up.
I don’t have a quote, but I remember in the beginning of the book Maus that Speigelman wrote that he made the Jews mice because Hitler had written something bad about Mickey Mouse.
I found a quote.
