I’ve had wasabi truffles, a chocolate shop in town makes them. They are really good, so I don’t see why wasabi wouldn’t make a good M&M flavor.
I’d like to find Jaffas here in Kansas, I got some once from an Australian poster. Dark orange candy shell, like an M&M, with orange flavored chocolate inside. Delicious!

Related to OP: they have wasabi kit-kats in Japan. I did not like them, but my SO thought they were the greatest thing ever.
I’ve never seen wasabi M&Ms, but I recently got a package of wasabi peas at the supermarket. The peas are flash-fried (I think) and coated with wasabi. Crunchy and delicious. And fewer calories than M&Ms!
