WAY more than you wanted to know about Rudy Giuliani

Also pathetic. Not that I waste any sympathy on him, since he’s brought all his ills upon himself by his own choices.

That is the equivalent of the movie cliché where someone walks into a bar and asks for a beer and is served one right up.

And this guy would do his stunts as NYC prosecutor when he’d go out with the DEA (and press photographers) dressed up in cameo, cap and sunglasses and play like he was somehow important in this staged crackdown on crack.

I can just see him going to a drug dealer and saying,
RG: “I need some”.
“Need what?”
RG: “Drugs, the kind I like”

I like that scenario yet it’s more likely he asked one of his cop cronies to fetch him something from the evidence room or went there himself. And my guess would be Ketamine.

“Dressed up in cameo” is my new favorite phrase for this kind of appearance.

Word Up.

Rudy in a codpiece?

I can’t take credit for this joke: Henry Kissinger is having a better December than Rudy Giuliani.

So, in the P&E thread about Rudy, we were relishing the joy of his recent disbarment, and wishing a terrible end for him. I had written out all of the following as a response to @LSLGuy, but realized it went waaaaay to far for P&E, so I’m posting it here, and will instead remind others to avoid my peril there.

As it was written:

I sympathize @LSLGuy - but that doesn’t happen to wealthy people, so he’ll always have a house (emphasis on the singular) and some of his money (depending on how much he managed to squirrel away from the prying eyes, although his recent incompetence indicates far less than I would have expected)…

So, I think the best we can hope for is he quickly drinks himself further into alcoholic dementia and suffers horribly from the side effects, lacking anyone willing to help him out of good will (because he has none from any side anymore) and finally dying, painfully, and alone despite his remaining physical assets… which upon his death, will be liquidated to the many people he owes…

I would like to see a well written adaptation of “A Christmas Carol” evoking Scrooges bad end based on Rudy’s life, except he sees nothing wrong with all the poor choices, and wakes up from the throws of the visions, realizing he’s having DT’s, only to die choking on his own vomit, utterly alone and with no one to help.

Well… That’s certainly, uh… You done wrote good.

If he’s really drinking as much as the media will have us believe and if his erratic behavior over the past few years really is a result, not of being drunk, but is actually alcohol induced dementia, I have to imagine he’s not long for this world.
A very quick skim of the wiki page on alcohol related dementia does suggest that it can resolve rather quickly if he stops drinking, but he’s 80 and that’s probably unlikely at this point.

I wasn’t intending to be fully factual or fair, as I have no way of evaluating Ghouliani’s actual physical and mental health. I was just wishing, in a perhaps excessively former-lit-major way, that I wish the worst and most ironic death upon him for all the outright evil he’s committed upon others in his endless dedication to all of the Greatest hit’s of humanities sins.

I used to get angry at politicians who were wrong under the usual political parameters. But dammit, Trump and his ilk push the anger levels to seething, and make it easy to hate. Which I occasionally give vent too more than I should, but I think I’ve always kept it to the Pit.

Thank the FSM!

I drink a good bit. I am thankful for people like Rudy who drink more than I do. It makes me feel puritanical, almost.

Moe: Take this seat right next to the tap.
Homer: But that’s Barney’s seat!
Moe: Hey ever bar needs a world class drunk.
Lenny: Yeah someone who makes our alcoholism seem less raging.

Just an overdue update for this thread:
