Any “breaking news” seems to be sparse for this story. One might guess this is due to the rather odd claims being made by Giuliani’s staff—who preface the news that Rudy is in the hospital with a stirring tale of Rudy’s heroism—he saved a woman from domestic violence!!! Whataguy!!!
Possibly legitimate news outlets are having trouble making sense of this claim.
As long as he’s in the hospital, he can’t abuse women.

Yeah the whole “stopped to help domestic violence victim” thing seems so sketchy and made up sounding. Not that it definitely is but it sounds like the kind of thing that a dodgy politician would make up when caught in an embarrassing situation.
Though Giuliani and the rest of the Maga political class has gone so far beyond the usual political norms that its not clear what the thing was that’s being covered up here. The usual politician sexual shenanigans wouldn’t even register as a scandal especially for someone like Guliani whos an old hasbeen nowhere near the center of power). What he was naked in the car with a younger women who wasn’t his wife, when this happened? So what, if everyone involved was a consenting adult, who cares?
