The key to Superman is to have smart villains who know not to fight him directly. Unfortunately, there hasn’t been a smart villain in a comic book movie since . . . Damn, I can’t think of one.

Magneto in the first X-Men movie was decent.

I just hope Batman gets some red kryptonite and exposes Superman to it and it makes him look like Alfred E. Nueman or gives him a gorilla head or something.

Ma-Ma in Dredd was pretty smart. Nasty, but smart.

Really? Loki in the Thor movies and in Avengers is certainly clever. Red Skull in the first Captain America movie was smart, and the Hydra agents who subverted SHIELD in the second one were geniuses.
