My friend Nicole is moving to the UK to get married. Sadly though, she can’t take her cats. So we took one of them. This is the second cat I’ve owned as an adult, and both cats were adopted from co-workers from a former job. Also, both cats were adopted 5 years apart, almost to the day.*
It’s a shy grey and white cat, who spends most of the day sleeping under the bed or in the corner of the bedroom. By night he’s a wildman that tears around the house and pulls mirrors off the wall.
The weird thing? The cat is stumpy. We thought he was slinking around because he was scared. After a couple of days we realized he wasn’t slinking- he’s just…stumpy. His legs are only like 75% of normal kitty length, as is his tail. This means his superpower is the ability to walk under the couch and the bed at full height.
This isn’t very exciting news. In fact, this may be the lamest post I’ve ever done. But I have strep/mono and so complete sentance structure is impressive for me.
*Note: cat #1 has been comandeered by my mother.
