We got'sch PUPPIES!

They’re like cotton balls with feet! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: So cute!

They are adorable!

My landlady decided she’s keeping the boy. His name is Majesty.

The puppies are now 4 weeks and 3 days old.

Here’s pictures of Majesty, with Woo and Mom.

So adorable! Although I always find it funny that a 4 or 5 week old puppy is as big as my full grown dog was!

What kind of dog did you have, @carrps ?

Dachshunds. Meant to mention it.

Way cute. You are lucky to witness them, @ekedolphin !

Mom and I played with Orange Girl today.

What a darling puppy! Squeeee!

Three of the puppies have gone now to their permanent homes. One, the loudest, went last week. Got very quiet around here. The other two, in the last couple of days.

Now we’ve just got Majesty, and this is his permanent home.

On the other hand, Woo is almost certainly pregnant. Landlady thinks she’ll have puppies right after Thanksgiving.

The whelping box is out. Woo’s due date is Saturday.

We need pictures once they’re here, and we need updates on Shimmer’s litter.

Shimmer had four puppies as you know, and three of them have been sold and spread across Virginia. The fourth, Majesty, the sole male in the litter, is staying here.

C’mon Saturday!

Woo’s puppy was born today. Born dead, I’m afraid. They worked on him for 20-30 minutes before calling it. There was no hope. The placenta was delivered practically exploded. We’re all devastated.

I’m sorry.

I’m so sorry that happened. I hope Woo is doing okay.

Remember Shimmer?

She’s a puppy mama again! This time with four puppies, born April 19.

And we didn’t even know she was pregnant. The first one was born on a couch! The boy dog was supposed to breed the other gal, silly.

We got’sch more puppies! And pictures!

Can I ask a really dumb question? What is “got’sch”? Is it some kind of regional slang I’m unfamiliar with?

It’s obviously an alternative way of saying “we’ve got,” but this thread is the only place I’ve ever encountered it. I tried Googling it but came up blank. Fight my ignorance, please!

Nah, it’s just my own personal slang. I’ve never heard anyone else use it.
