I am stocking up on popcorn for the NEXT Republican primary. A 17-man clown car wasn’t enough this time.
There are lots of things you can give Obama credit for, but I don’t see how anyone can give him credit for low gas prices. If you want to thank someone for that, it would be the American Oil Industry and probably more specifically the new methods of fracking:

I will give Obama credit for blocking the pipeline though, I wish we did more to protect the environment, at any point in the future you could theoretically build something like that if you had to, but we should preserve the environment as much as possible and once you build something like that, you can’t undo the damage.
That was Huerta88 who said the numbers at the end represented either his birth year or when he graduated from high school.
It is not that Obama personally made things wonderful. It is just that we are, in lots of ways, in paradise, relatively speaking, compared to where we were in 2009. Whether of not Obama had anything to do with gas prices, you can’t say we are in gas price hell. Unless you work in the oil industry, I suppose.
Clearly lots of people listen to Trump tell them how bad off they are and see that they no longer live in fear of being fired, have money in their pockets due to lack of inflation, rising salaries (just in time) and low energy prices, and can’t figure out what he’s talking about.
To the high school dropouts he has a point, I suppose.
Mr. Bozo, what makes you think you are qualified to fill the exalted role of Republican nominee … oh, never mind. Just send your audition tape.
A Republican comedian could clean up if there were any Republican comedians.
Yeah, he says he’s 77, so 1939 is the right year for his birth. 88 has nothing to do with his age.

There’s no shortage of comedy on either side.
#vaudeville2016
it is very hard to imagine you being right
but watching this board since 2008 and the economic trajectory of the United States, it is a very strange assertion.
Maybe it is the social aspect, but I think then the subject is not very flattering to you.
Ah it is the senility of the old age.
It explains why is the fount of incorrect information constantly in replying in the GQ threads, on just basic facts.
So, it must be rough to see the Houston Chronicle coming out for Hillary. And to hear all the talk about Turning Texas Blue. I doubt that will happen this year but I’m glad to hear the possibility mentioned.
Still, Houston will remain Democratic–like the other Texas cities. (Not just Groovy Austin.) Maybe you’d be happier in Vidor?
Ooooo…good one!
I don’t know the jtur88 at all or where he’s coming from, but I agree with my interpretation of the OP (please ignore the tautology behind the curtain).
Hillary will be elected. It won’t matter if she channels St. Ronnie directly or hacks BriteBart to follow their policy dreams, no matter what she says or does it will be portrayed by the right as horrible. No matter what she is able to accomplish, the right will portray the country as having gotten worse. Simply looking at a fraction of the rhetoric regarding Obama’s terms gives an idea of what’s in store.
Hence, “every dire prediction they make about Hillary’s administration will, and must, come true because” irrespective of reality, the right wing media machine will be saying that it did.
The 2018 mid-terms will put Republicans back in power through a combination of Democratic apathy, electoral-map cyclical advantage, and constant hounding of how bad her administration has been. And the Crazy Train of the far-alt-right will primary out any sane or reasonably grown up Republicans. Note too that her administration will be hampered by Benghazi-level scandal after scandal.
The post-2018 congress will at the very least keep talk of impeachment in the media conversation, possibly finding something that that can bring forward without heed to its vapidity.
In 2020, the right will declare the country is in much worse shape than it is now (which they are already calling a hellhole). The congress will have moved to the right already, and will be poised to lurch even further along. Trump or LePage or Paladino or the like will rise to ‘save’ us from the chaos they describe — and most importantly, that their followers believe to be true.
No Democrat will want to primary a sitting president for obvious reasons. A more polished Republican turd will mount a successful campaign against her, pandering to Trump’s current base and then some. They will then come down hard to fulfil that super-alt-right base’s agenda, punish those who got us into the mess they claim exists, and viciously attack the problems that pretend to exist, “which leads straight to Godwin: This is where Hitlers come from.”
The only thing right wing droolers get right about President Obama is his middle name.
Or simply a crotchety old man who repeats shit he’s heard without checking first and hates being corrected. Wrong board for that.
All I can hear is, “Wolf!! No, really, I mean it THIS time! Wolf! Wolf! WOLF!!!”
Same old, same old. Y’all need a new shtick !
This works equally well for Clothahump.
True, my analogy for people complaining about today’s economy would be that, Pilot Obama took control of a plane with three engines on fire and in spite of aq a co-pilot actively working against him, he managed to land it safely in a cornfield. But some passengers are still griping that they missed their connections.
Hillary and Hitler. They share the first, second, fourth, and sixth letters. It’s all clear now, Hillary is the resurrected Hitler, with one more letter tacked on the end to throw everyone off his/her scent.
No shit … four more years of this liberal crap coming out of Washington and I’ll have to rent a storage unit just to put all these extra $100 bills … one person can only use so much scratch paper …
And don’t forget the most important thing - they didn’t run out of coffee, so no need to panic.
