Weather By Sybil - A MMP

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 63 Amurrkin out and drizzly with a predicted high of 73 with rain/tstorms/apocalypse predicted. We did have some heavy rain overnight. I woke up about two this mornin’ to go pee and it was rainin’ biiiiiiiiiig then. The weather PTB say heavy rain and tstorms this afternoon into early evenin’. We shall see.

Today’s plans include deheathenization (I have ush duty) followed by N.O.L. at Steak ‘n Shake cause OYKW has a gnawin’ and a cravin’ for a burger from there. I shall clean collards this afternoon as I have not done that yet and need to so’s I can put the big stems in the trash as tomorrow is trash pick-up day. The excitatement at da cave is just never endin’!

Ok, that’s all I got. I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Soon I shall rouse OYKW from sleepyland to ingest brekkie and commence with purtification for deheathenization.

Happy Sunday Y’all!

Happy Sunday!

It’s 41 degrees outside with a projected high of 54 predicted for today.
Good thing for my bare feet as Sah-dog was doing the crossed leg toe nail tap dance this morning. and I could find only one shoe.
If his leash was just a few feet longer I could stand in the doorway to put him out.

Irk is the main thing on the agenda today. Boring I know but I need the money and the bonus.

Oh no, FairyChatMom, the whole point of being retired is never having to go to Walmart on the weekend!!

I used to know a girl named Domas. She was Greek.

Finis (this concludes my Catholic school Latin) :stuck_out_tongue:

Emily, I hope your friend has his/her own mouthpiece.

I plan on puttering around in the studio this morning before taking a swing through the grocery sto’ and having supper with my neighbor.

Happy Sunday!

Up, caffeinated, off to work. It’s 42, so no pupsicle today on the morning walk.

I know a few Greek ladies at the arena.

Veni Vici Vino*

*I came, I saw, I drank all the wine.

It’s spelled Romanadvoratrelundar. And you call yourself a Whovian.

He actually doesn’t. Though I’m less concerned about the mouthpiece, and more concerned that he might be a smoker. I didn’t want to ask because I didn’t want to come off as rude, but I did once let a smoker borrow my (regular) clarinet, and it tasted awful afterwards. :frowning: Oh well.

Much to do today, as usual.

Paging Rosie, paging Rosie!

For the love of God ,would you people stop hornking in my room!

You belong to the Judean People’s Front, don’t you.:dubious:

You’re supposed to play the clarinet ,not eat it.:p;)

SPLITTERS!

Mein Gott. <insert Mr. Yuck> I am so glad I played viola.

Veni, vidi, been.

I came, I saw, I shopped.

eta: Hoc est questus de linguae Latinae manus.

Except that I didn’t realize till yesterday that I was just about out of kitteh kibbles. No problem, tho - we were in and out and home before 9.

**Midget **- I don’t think it would be rude to ask. Your property, your rules.

I just finished running the mulcher/vac in the front and back yards. Mostly. I didn’t rake out the flower beds and I didn’t do the stretch outside the yards along the street. I’ll get to that later.

Howdy Y’all! Home from deheathenization/ush duty, and N.O.L. I had a good burger and fries at Steak 'n Snake, but I say again, it’s not all that. We had coupons so at least it was cheap.

This afternoon’s plan calls for collard cleanin’ and ironin’ yet more shirts. The shirts may or may not get done.

‘Tis dreary out but not rainin’ right now. Another rain is due within the next couple of hours however.

I think, for now, a nappy poo may be called far so I can gather strentgh for collard cleanage. One must be well rested to tackle such a chore.

I played viola for a year. I enjoyed it.

Happy Sunday all! It’s a gray day in ABQ today, not much sun today I think. And it’s windy and getting even more windy. LOL Gusts up to 40! Batten the hatches!!

I don’t know if sari still gets Me TV, but last night Svengooli showed “The Ghost and Mr. Chicken,” a movie that I love even though it’s corny as all get out! I remember the family going to see this at a drive-in movie theatre of all things. It was hard even back in the mid-60s to find family fare (my youngest two brothers were under 5 at the time), and the drive-in provided larger families with an affordable option. Mom would make a picnic, and we’d eat supper there before the movie. We’d take our own snacks, although I think we were probably allowed to have popcorn during the movie. LOL Oh my, this made me think about the terrible soft drinks my mom would buy, the store brand colas that tasted awful. My mom also like Fizzies, which my brothers would drink, but not me, that stuff didn’t taste right to me!!! They still make it, so I guess it’s not toxic, but it sure tasted that way to me. One of my brothers liked root beer, and he called it doody, but I can’t remember why that was. The holidays always makes me nostalgic, thanks for letting me share.

FCM, are you folks going to do a Thanksgiving this week? Also, doggio, I’m guessing that the Gordie and Bella haven’t done each other in yet, but the hornking incident does not bode well! I will send good wishes to you and to them too!

And a double questus on you!

Flexilis sum, es gluten. :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s been an odd day - anyone think to post Romanes eunt domus yet?

I dated a girl named Viola for a couple weeks; it wasn’t bad at all. She was no nudist flutist, but not bad at all.
