Weather By Sybil - A MMP

Howdy All. It was 84 degrees F here today. Very warm.

I went and had an MRI on my bum knee. I wonder what that costs. It won’t cost me a cent as I have met my deductible with surgery earlier in the year. But, I bet they will sock it the insurance co. I asked the tech if I was going to glow in the dark and he said no radiation at all involved with this. Yea sure. I felt myself getting cancer just laying there trying to be still. I still had to breathe and when I breathe my chest moves.

I had an ok day at irk. They pay for my presence so I feel a little honored. Took Lucky Louie cause hubby was going to Miami for a class but he got stuck fixing stuff so shall leave very early in the am. So Lucky Louie will accompany me again tomorrow. He does not get paid. Little stinker stepped in a wad of gum the other day and I did the best it could to remove it. Well today he was lame in that foot, walking on three legs, so I ran him to the vet where they cut his nails and cut some more gum out from between his toes. His foot is the size of a quarter. What are the chances? I hate gum droppers.

Ok. Rosie’s sig for all. Off to catch up.

I read on the net today there is a shortage of chocolate worldwide ::eek:

Booobbbbiiooooo. You ain’t right. Just ain’t right.

Welcome Diss. Sari. I would think hard wired smoke detectors would be a requirement. CO too.

Ok. All caught up.

What’s yer point? :dubious:

Just for good measure I decided to do another post as I know duplicate posts are frowned upon. :stuck_out_tongue:

As a pile-on with the smoke detectors, might as well get the ten-year type. They’re required here in the aftermath of people dying in fires and the smoke detector’s batteries were missing. A bit expensive up front, but cheaper over its lifespan when you factor in not needing to buy batteries and the time it takes to climb up and get at the thing.

Who’d fancy a spot of tea? We’ve pretty much finished building old London and the tea shop is again ready to flood the streets with PG Tips and English Breakfast. We open on Saturday.

You have to upgrade to the Dwemer Spider to get those.

In a good way or a bad way?

I’ve had “The Bad Touch” going through my head all day after reading that.

We’re getting Winter Weather Advisoried here in the high country. Not sure why. The rain’s stopped and they’ve quit saying the f-word in the forecast.

My parents received letters from my teachers that read, “Carnivorous tries very hard to play with others, but…”

His received letters that read, “The child ain’t right!”

We had rain and the temps are dropping - in the 30s by morning. I’ve mostly been crocheting my next afghan. Supper has been ingested and cleaned up after, and we’re in the evening chill mode.

Dunno if I can get on tomorrow - **FCD **will be taking this computer to Ocoee when he gives his presentation to a buttload of 7th graders. I’ll crochet again, I guess.

{{{Tugig}}} - Yoiks! Hope you’re OK!

**Distress **- welcome to the playground!

And with that, I’m off to crochet more. MWAH!!

If only it was wine instead of whine.

I kind of miss drinking sometimes. 11 months sober now, though. (Not that I’m being a jerk and judging other people for drinking - just that I myself had to quit drinking.)

I did find some vodka in the freezer  but it’s not mine. Although my new asthma inhaler tastes like vodka for some reason. Ew.

I once considered a job making collection calls just so I could sit there and smugly be swore at by professionals.

waaaah! I wanted to be first on two! waaaah!

Just got a call from my parents. They had a truck go off the road in the snow and smash through the front wall of their house.

The good news:
My parents weren’t home when this happened.
The driver only has minor injuries.
Presumably his insurance will cover the repairs.

The bad news:
My parents are upset as hell.
This is going to be a huge construction job.
They’re starting the winter with a large hole in their house.

…they don’t like him & want nothing to do with him."
Hmmm, kinda like the Mumpers. Some things never change. :dubious:

Don’t know if I was ever first on a page before. :stuck_out_tongue:

Howdy Y’all! Home from men’s night over to the church house. A good time was had by all as usual. I read but have not retained much other than the robot spiders which may or may not be a good idea.

In other news I has a sad. My next door neighbor Harry has been in the VA Alzheimer’s unit in Dublin, Jawja for the past five years. He had early onset AD, meaning he was only 55 when diagnosed. Anywho, he passed away this afternoon. His wife Barbara (also next door neighbor) told me two weeks ago the end might be near. RIP Harry. Harry and Barbara are the kind of neighbors you want to have. Heck, if I had been told I could pick who I want livin’ next to me, I couldn’t have done any better than them. Just super people! Thus, I has a sad tonight. :frowning: Given what he’s been through, I know he’s in a better place. Still sad. :frowning:

Now that I’ve given y’all a downer for the night, I shall betake myself to bed. Da bear is tahrd and ready for sleepy time.

Nitey Nite Y’all!

Nemo,. Glad the parents are OK. Walls fix easier than people.

Poor Baby!

Kopek, delete your post!
:dubious:

Here’s hoping that construction on your folks’ house is swift, nemo.
