Lawson was also the best thing about the recent Bleak House adaptation back in, uh, 2005 I think it was. (And this was actually a very good adaptation, so this isn’t a backhanded compliment.)

I always liked Wedge because I have a thing for “underappreciated friend of the lead” or “not-as-cool-as-the-lead” roles. (See also B.J. in MASH*). Then again, I also prefer Luke to Han, much for the same reason.

Edited to add: Y’know, it’s been ages but I will never get used to that “big expanding ring” explosion Lucas added to Star Wars. Just doesn’t seem right to me.
