Week 4 NFL Discussion Thread (non-fantasy)

Sorry if the same person is supposed to post these each week.

My upsets this week: St.L over Seattle, and Chicago over NYG. NYG can’t live off reputation anymore, if they’re a good team, they need to start winning. I expect Peppers to eat up Diel like how freeney/mathis did. Seattle’s defense still sucks. They allowed almost 600 yards and only won because of the two kickoff returns.

The one I can’t decide is @Tennessee (-7) vs Denver. Denver’s run defense is very suspect and Tennessee is very, very scary on the QB option. However, Tennessee’s pass defense is very suspect, giving up nearly 400 yards vs the only quality QB they met (and this was Eli Manning. The other QB’s they faced were Dennis Dixon and Jason Campbell.

So, to me it’s a tossup:
Tennessee’s rush attack vs Denver’s passing game, both of which have been very excellent.

I went with a Denver upset. I think right now Orton is throwing better than CJ is running.

I think the Giants rebound and win. They are still a pretty good team.

I also think Denver wins, especially if Kerry Collins is the QB (who IS the starter right now?).

I’ll also go along with St Louis over Seattle, as I think Seattle is a pretender.

Saints play the Panthers this week. Need a bounce-back division win after the loss to Atlanta. My fantasy team needs a big day from Brees and Henderson.
