I was at the game in Athens yesterday, and I’m still worn out. We got the win, but it was a rather unpleasant 4th quarter. Whew.
Go Dawgs.

Dude, I hear you. We watched that game in my house like we were standing in the waiting room while a friend is in emergency surgery. Just a tense game. Thank god Corso didn’t pick us. That was the spark we needed. Dawgs on top!
The fact that CBS turns these games into 4-hour affairs doesn’t help matters any. Something needs to be done about the length of these things. It’s absurd.
As a rule, college football fans LIKE long games because they tend to have to travel a long way. I think that’s backwards, but whatever. I like ten minutes from my alma mater and I can hear the stadium from my back yard.
No way. I invest a lot of time and energy going to see college football and I don’t know a single fan who enjoys long games. People routinely boo the TV timeout ref at games. The bickering in the stands in almost constant. The folks who travel want to spend more time with their friends before and after at the tailgate.
Bama shut out Ole Miss, 25-0. That’ll teach Bo Wallace why it’s not a good idea to tweet things about the other team’s DBs before a game. ROLL TIDE!
That Georgia - LSU game was a classic. When Georgia had to settle for a FG late in the 4th, I just knew LSU was going to make them pay (even when it was 3rd & 23). I didn’t figure Georgia would respond. Awesome.
Did I hear this story correctly…LSU kicked a player off the team for sucker-punching somebody in a bar fight; then put the question as to whether to let him back to a team vote?
I didn’t think my opinion of Les Miles could drop any lower.
