The position had to be filled by a non-meta. Checkmate’s rule of two. At every level in which there are four positions, two of them must be filled by non-powered individuals, and two by metas. At the Knight level, we have Count Vertigo (White Queen’s Knight) and Fire (Black King’s Knight.)
