Well - today was WI. I lost another 2.2 pounds making my grand total 15.8 pounds! I have a lot more to go, but I am feeling very proud of myself.

Anyhoo. I’ve had my weigh and measure at the gym today:
-3" bust
-3" waist
-6.5" abdomen
-5" hips
-4" thighs
+1" arms
Total inches lost 20.5
18 lbs lost, 12.75 lbs of which are body fat.
I had lost 8 lbs before I started as well, so total is 26 lbs (although they admit the scale is high by a couple of pounds and needs balancing)

Since I was last here I have lost a bit more and now am up to the grand total of 19 pounds.
One whole pound away from my 10% and two away from a stone and a half.

I think it was two meals out, though I pointed what I ate, I think there must’ve been fat/salt/something on the veg and probably not using skim milk in my coffee didn’t help.

I started Weight Watchers on Monday.
The meeting was a bit trippy. Those people were fucking perky, but more power to them.
Going through my fridge, pantry, and cupboards and figuring what needed to and what can stay was annoying and somewhat depressing.
A Snickers bar should not be 7 points, dammit(they’re gone now. I gave them away to friends with anything else that was an insane amount of points).
I did keep my mini Reese’s peanut butter cups because I found they are only 1 point. I let one melt on my tongue when I get a craving for chocolate. Thus far, I’ve only had one.
I’ve had quite a bit of fat free microwave popcorn with brewer’s yeast(that stuff kicks so much ass).
I’ve only had one day where I went over my point limit because I multiplied incorrectly when figuring my points for dinner(duh). Luckily I had accumulated enough points that I still have 2 in my bank.
WWCalc(which is a Palm Pilot program no longer made or distributed by the original creator because of a cease and desist order) has been invaluable to me in keeping track of everything. I really wish that WW would make a program like it or buy the code from the guy who was freely distributing it so there could be regular revisions and updates so it would stay in tune with any changes in the program.
My ‘leader’ mentioned the entire program is going to change in a few months? Anyone know anything about that?

I can honestly say I don’t know what changes are coming. But I’ve heard that on the WW boards people are already talking about it. Last year I was actually made to sign a confidentiality agreement. I imagine when we have the staff meeting this year, they will require the same…
I’ve wondered if it is because their point system has been made all to clear by many who have pointed out(on different websites) that it is public record at the patent office.

Well - just thought I’d check in. I’ve been really bad this week. I doubt I’ve stayed on plan at all. I’m not sure what is going on with me. I’d like to think that I’ve stayed within range for most days. I haven’t been journaling either. I think it may stem from the fact that I know my group isn’t meeting this coming Monday.
I desperately need help to get me to focus again, else when we do meet I’ll gain back! ACK!!!

I seem to have hit a wall. Stayed the same this last week after gaining the week before (TTOTM). I tried really hard last week, too.
I’ve been running and playing with the puppy, so hopefully that will help.
I’m stuck too. I have lost only one pound since last Monday (19th) and I’m annoyed. I have historically had a 2-3 lb loss every week. Anyone got a hacksaw? I don’t need this left arm…
I’m in the same boat. I’m sticking strictly to my points. I mean, to the number and even doing some exercise (gasp)!
My goal of getting about 5lbs down by the time I go to Dublin is looking like it won’t happen.
I seem to go in this pattern:
Week One: lose 4-5 lbs
Week Two: lose 2 lbs
Week Three: stay the same
Week Four: lose 1 lbs
Week Five: lose 4-5 lbs
ARrrrrrggggghhhhhhh!!!
This is how it has been for me:
Week 1: +1.5 pounds
Week 2: -1
Week 3: Same
Week 4: -6
Week 5: +6
Week 6: Same
I do lots of walking every day, and with the puppy play quite alot (including chasing her around the garden). Points are adhered to, with lots of veg and fruit. Even tried staggering my points (that was the week we lost 6#).
Frustrated? Yep. I had hoped to get to my 10% by the time Twisty and Tir came the 6th June. Ain’t gonna happen. Technically I am still heavier than when I started. Dangnabbit!!
That bastard plateau has been broken. One more pound down.

I am so not wanting to go tonight. Did lots of walking this morning with the pup to the vet. Not feeling so hot… Bitch moan bitch moan…
But I know that if I don’t go it will be even easier to say no again next week.
