I use Brave browser, Chromium based. A few iterations ago they added a “feature” where it’s trivial to accidently click wrong on a tab and instead of it coming to the front it is moved to a newly opened window.
When this happens to a topic tab here, if I leave the tab in that window and I try to reply I don’t get the Reply/Cancel buttons. So I can type in a reply but can’t post it. (The reply box sort of appears as it’s own little window at the bottom overlaying the rest of the thread.)
I’ve discovered the fix is to move the tab back to the original window.
Not a big deal but I thought I might post it as a heads up in case other Dopers get surprised by this.
