Weird things you notice about getting older that young you never thought about

Coming into this thread and not posting because obviously I don’t belong in the old person thread…
Only to see people younger than me posting about how old they are. I’m 33

Another time-related one…
I was born in 1980. The Vietnam war ended in 1975, 5 years before I was born. Therefore, 9/11 will be further removed for my kids (4 and 6) than Vietnam was for me. And I remember it seeming like ancient history as a kid.

Same way I feel about WW2 v. Vietnam. Kids nowadays are all wearing peace symbols as a fashion motif. When I was young it was a political statement.
