Welcome Back, COLLUNSBURY!

It was more than a little disturbing to see that someone so well-versed as yourself was gone from these boards.

Allow me to say, WELCOME BACK!

Your assistance is more than needed at a time like this. I know that you shall not miss the chance of rising to the occasion.

We both have not always agreed, but (I believe) have always shared a deep desire to know and better understand the situation in MENA. You are one of our most precious resources in this respect and it is hoped you might find sufficient euphemisms to lambaste the same blithering morons you shall always encounter without imperiling your most desirable status herewithin.

WELCOME BACK!

What he said.

::raising my glass of Tullamore Dew to one of our finest fighters of ignorance returned to us::

Well this is a pleasant turn of events.

Welcome back.

Welcome welcome welcome!

Although mainly a lurker, I’d like to join in the welcome backs. Its good to see someone so knowledgeable return.

Welcome

Look forward to seeing your posts.

Yea, hooray! This is good news!

Eh.

Welcome back, good sir.

I too was saddened by his banning and am glad to hear that he’s been allowed back into the fold. While some may find his short temper and acid tongue hard to deal with, I value his insight and knowledge.

Welcome back.

PS - What is MENA?

MENA = Middle East/North Africa

A little more geographically inclusive than just the Middle East, acknowledging the close interconnectivity of the two regions.

I’d not noticed much of his former postings, but if he is as knowledgable as you guys say, I will start reading to learn.
And welcome back, sir.

Welcome back, Collounsbury, bane of the Bigotus osteocephalus. (My own analysis of the ecology of the Collounsbury can be found here.)

Just in time! (Okay, okay, maybe a little late.)

Welcome back-- your contributions were missed.

I expect to read GD quite a bit more now that you’re back.

Colibri, “Bigotus osteocephalus” is quite clever-- that’s bound to become part of my vocabulary.

I’ve always enjoyed what Collunsbury had to say. I’m glad he’s back.
