Yeah, I know. I’m aiming to get better about that.
Really, Dude. You’re on my MIA list along with Meros and Frank#2.
Guys, guys. There’s no need to guilt-trip me. I’ll be there!
Yeah, really – don’t you think comparing him to Meros is a bit harsh? Frank #2 showed up for Gettysdope, at least.
In addition to the applesauce cake I mentioned in an earlier post, I’ll bring whatever else you need me to bring.
Hey, the dude came to the Scoutfest in the snow, Dude! On a weeknight, no less. I think with that effort he has fully renew his MAD membership.
“renewed”, Dude.
Man, that’s lude!
Back on topic, If I can come, I’ll bring Grand Mariner Brownies. However, I have no idea how many servings I should make. Any Idea?
We usually have anywhere from 20-40 people in the house. Make what you make, and when they run out it’s too bad for everyone else.
We’ll need snackies, side dishes, and byo beer. I don’t know yet if we’ll be doing burgers and hot dogs, or pit beef. Dave hasn’t decided so I don’t know. We’ll provide pop (soda for you Americans :P) and the main dish.
How would a tray of snack veggies (carrots, celery, etc.) be?
Wow. I guess I’d better bring a few cakes, then, huh?
As far as the side dishes are concerned, let me think about what I’m good at making, what vegetables are in season now and what can feed a crowd that size. I’ll post back in a few days with some suggestions.
That’d be great. It’ll keep me away from (too much of) UrbanChic’s cake.
Ladies. An element of guy interaction is busting one another’s chops. Ultrafilter is a cool guy IMO, and I’m sure he understands where I’m coming from on a mano-e-mano basis. No offense was meant.
Dude, you’re telling them all our secrets!
Mmmmmaybe.
Say, 50-50 right now, but I’ll know more later tonight.
Ultrafilter can take my spot, as I’m no longer able to attend: my boss got her EdD this year, and she just announced that her graduation party is that day. But the next time Mississippienne moves in with Agent Foxtrot, I’m there!
Call Intaglio and I ‘70-30’ now. If we’re able, kidlets will be in tow…
Thank you for explaining that, dwc. Interaction among guys can be a puzzling and mysterious area to us gals. I think we all learned a little more about this mano-e-mano business last week when Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah and Bush walked hand-in-hand at the Bush ranch.
On a totally unrelated note, Anita, do you still have room in the bozo bus for one more?
Absolutely! We can work out details by email.
Any other NoVa bozos want to hop on the bus?
