I have decided to step up and run the 2026 SDMB Shot Glass Exchange, and the twist is this: If you join our merry little band you will send, at the bare minimum, a shot glass and a written toast that you have used in the past or wish you had used. Anything else you add to the package is up to you. Are there any rules? You betcha!
- If you would like to receive a shot glass and a toast from a participating Dopester, please post your expression of interest and participation into this thread.
- Send me a PM with your username, real-life name (optional if you like), your full current postal address, and whether you are ready, willing and able to ship your package overseas.
- Cut-off for signing up is a PM to be received by myself with a date-stamp on Thursday, October 15th 2026.
- I will, of course, keep private stuff sent to me private, giving it only to the person picked to give you a gift.
- Finally, I will then send out the return PMs to each participant with the contact name and address of the other Doper to whom your obligation is to send said shot glass and toast.

BTW, the last time I mixed drinking and posting, I held a “Rename The Moderator Contest”…and almost had my name changed from “slythe” to “Chicken Of Bristol”.
