Same here. If there was a way to be absolutely 100% correct on every death penalty case then I’d have no problem with the DP. Hell, I’d have no problem killing this sick fuck myself.

Unfortunately, I do not have that kind of confidence in our legal system and, frankly, even 99.9% accurate is not accurate enough to send someone to their death.

He confessed and the evidence all points to him, that’s 100% enough for me to send him to the chair.

Sheriff: Evidence points to sex abuse

HOMOSASSA, Florida (CNN) – Jessica Marie Lunsford, the 9-year-old Florida girl whose body was found Saturday near her parents’ home, was kidnapped from her bedroom, and there is evidence from a medical examiner that she was sexually assaulted, the Citrus County sheriff said Sunday night.

Couey, who has a long criminal history, allegedly confessed to abducting and killing Jessica and burying her in the yard of his half-sister’s house, not far from the Lunsford’s home. Couey has not been charged in that case.

According to the sheriff and other sources, the suspect entered the house on the night of February 23, made his way to her bedroom, put his hand over her mouth, told her to be quiet, and forced her to leave.

Her body was found at 4 a.m. Saturday buried behind Couey’s half-sister’s home, which is within sight of the Lunsford home, where a command center was set up to coordinate the search for her.

It refers to the practice of removing the ashes and clinkers from a coal-burning furnace. I suppose it could also refer to removing ashes from a wood-burning stove, but the context I learned it was in regard to coal-burning home furnaces: that was always “Father’s little chore”, to go down-cellar once a day, sift down the grate, and remove the ashes and clinkers.

Holy shit! I just heard on the news that the fucker had worked at the little girls school! He was hired by a contractor to be a mason’s assistant at construction done at the school. The contractor denies the fucker had any contact with the children, but at least one employee contradicts this. :::shudder:::
