Sergeant Simetra now.

Yup… done went and got myself promoted to Staff Sergeant. ((That’s E-5 for you guys in the Army/Navy/Marines.)) Made it on my first try too, which is apparently pretty impressive judging by the amount of congratulations I got. Checked out my test scores yesterday and turns out I actually did pretty well on them also.

Figured it was the best thing to happen to me in a really really long time. So, I thought I’d post up my news since I haven’t had time to do anything but read/lurk on the SDMB.

Anyway… that’s that. Two years now and I can test for Tech Sergeant.

Congratulations, my husband got it last year on his second try. I’ve never heard of anyone getting it on their first, so that’s awesome!
