I t certainly pays to read the old postings as well as the stickies. Thats where I learned you could pay to register with Paypal. So, as of 6:23 this am, I am a fully paid member and it really feels good.
I have suddenly lost that intruder os eavesdropping feeling I had during my few free days(I think its a great idea BTW). To reiterate what a bargain I think it is, I mentioned to my SO the other day that I was thinking of joiningand she asked me how much it cost. I told her and she replied " thats not too bad…a month?’ When I told her it was for a year, she couldn’t believe it. I guess a bargain is in the eye of the beholder!
Anyway, I am now one of you. Now I have to prove myself worthy to be one of you.

Yes, opinions do vary. That is one of the things that attracted me to this board. While I am not by nature, a confrontational person, nothing pleases me more than a good healthy difference of opinion. And as to quality, I lurked for about a month before committing myself and I am extremely impressed with the quality on this board. This is my first time on any board of any kind so I really have no frame of reference but as I said, if you read back in the previous posts, you cannot help but be impressed.
Sorry about the emaciation, Hal. Mariah ate all the non-emaciated goats. And our livestock rental consultants have been asking increasingly-pointed questions when we go to pick up ‘supplies’.
That lurker feeling goes away quickly, but the welcoming ceremony you will remember for a long time, it’s quite the occasion.

Sunspace**- should we do a study into the feasibility of raising our own goats and such? Those rental fees get to be a pain, and I don’t like the way those consultants look at us when we come in.

On the other hand, I do have some small scars in odd locations. Probably just a coincidence.
Looking into raising our own livestock might be a good idea. It would give nore room for …‘modifications’, as well. Perhaps Kythereia’s plans for an SD principality might be relevant.
