Whichever. The latest polls show our esteemed goober, Frank Murkowsi, to have the worst rating of any in the U.S. at 82% negative. Yes, even worse than Gov. Taft (convicted) and Gov. Fletcher (indicted). And he didn’t even break the law (that we know of). The good (?) news is that he was soundly trounced in the primary by a relative newcomer, and a woman, no less. It’s questionably good because while she appears to at least be ethical, she’s somewhere to the right of Atilla. And despite the fact that all she seems to be able to do is spout populist bullshit, she will probably also trounce the more experienced Dem who is running.
Well, at least we’re rid of Frank. What an asshole. He truly proved the adage that you can’t go home again. At least not after being in Washington, DC for 20-something years doing nothing in Congress. You can’t hide from the spotlight in state politics in Alaska.
I think that this rating gives us the number one slot in many key metrics, including child abuse, spouse abuse, rape and possibly alcohol/substance abuse. Warms the heart, don’t it?
There are few humans alive in politics who are worse than Texas Governor Rick Perry who will be reelected this year. Mr Perry is a despicable creature who will be voted into office again. You can never run too far to the right in Texas.
I think Alaskans should be more ashamed of Ted Stevens.
Nah. Embarrassed, maybe. Although he’s sure done his part in bringing home the pork, which is what they are all expected to do by their constituencies. And what is it that we should be ashamed of exactly?
