OK, so we are up to 35 players so far. No one has been sent confirmation emails yet, so don’t freak if you didn’t get one. I am going to assume that I am not going to get responces from more that a couple more of the people I emailed so I am going to go ahead and figure out how many of each role we should have.
Basically if you posted to this thread before I closed the posting. Or if you posted with a link to an early sign up, or if you got an email from me…you are in. (also **Malacandra ** who doesn’t technically fit that description, but is in.)
Otherwise you are probably out of luck.
On the upside, with a game this large we are probably going to need a few subs. I will try to keep a list of folks who didn’t make it into the game. If we need a sub I will email these people and the first to respond will take over the role. That being said, I think too many subs can hurt the game and I am going to try to put in subs only when it is completly necessary. This game is going to go on for a while, make sure you actually want to commit to this.

Nope, you can still be in. The game will be able to compensate, and if you can’t finish we can probably find you a sub. There doesn’t seem to be a lack of interst.
Ok, off to work. I should have a post put together by morning with rules, details, a player list and a start time. I will send out confirmation emails with characters at the same time. I am going to try to use PM exclusivly, but we will see how that goes. BTW I am on PST, it is just about 9pm over here, so you can get an idea of the time cycle I am going to be opperating on.

Uh, I mean I’m in.
Ok this thing is huge at this point, so in the interest of getting things going I am going to list the possible roles, as well as the basic rules. All the players will get a PM with their role in the next couple of hours. You have you have 24 hours from that point to confirm.
The game will start at night, and the 48 hour clock will start ticking on the first night as soon as the roles are sent out. The first day will start with the announcement of the first nights kills.
Possible roles NOT all of which are being used.
Mafia-these are the bad guys. There may be as many as 10 of them. They can talk to each other, but only at night. During the day they pass themselves off as townies. They vote to kill one person a night, but may vote no kill.
Godfather- The head mafia member. In case of a tie in the night kill vote the Godfather decides. Godfather shows up as a regular townie if investigated, will survive being targeted for night kill by the Vigilante.
The Miller- The miller is a role blocker, they select a person each night to stop from using their role assignment. The Miller is pro town, but will show up as scum if investigated. There can be up to 2 millers
**Cops ** - there are 2 kinds of cop, detective and beat cop. Detectives are always right when they investigate, beat cops are only right 50% of the time. Cops cannot talk outside of the game. There can be up to 3 cops.
**Serial Killer ** - anti town AND anti mafia player, may kill each night, but does not have to. SK wins if they are still alive at endgame.
Vigilante - pro town player who selects one person to kill each night. The vigilante must kill every night in search of the serial killer.
If the vigilante kills the serial killer the Vigilante becomes an ordinary citizen and a confirmed townie. If the SK is lynched or Mob Killed, the Vigilante becomes a citizen but does not get public confirmation of town status.
Masons - Ordinary citizens, but they each know the identity of the others. They may not speak outside of the game. There may be up to 6 masons.
**The Doctor ** - May chose one person each night to save from being night killed. If investigated they show up as the Doctor.
Guardian Angel- A one shot deal. May chose 2 people to protect on a single night, but can only use this ability once. If investigated shows up as an Ordinary Citizen.
Because this game is SO big, I figure it will be confusing to have anything more complicated. So if you don’t see it on the list it isn’t in the game.
Rules:
To vote you must post you vote in blue. You only get one vote per day, but you may unvote as many times as you like and revote. Its the last one that counts.
Please unvote before you revote.
Do not quote any PM’s or emails from me.
Days will last 5 real time days, and nights will last 2. Day’s can end early if there are 10 votes to lynch until we drop below 20 players. After that it is simple majority to lynch early. At the end of the 5th day the person with the most votes gets it.
NO LURKING. Each poster must post something at least 3 times each game day unless the day ends early. This is mostly going to be the honor system, but if you can’t commit to 3 posts in 5 days you may want to back out. If you are going to be away for an extended period of time please post to the thread or email/pm me to let me know. If you need to drop out, let someone know and we will find a sub, no hard feelings.
Don’t violate the character descriptions or go outside the spirit of the game.
If you have a night choice to make, make sure it is in by the deadline. If you don’t I will chose for you and you might not like my choice.
No editing your posts. We used to live without the edit function, we can do it again for this game.
Once your death scene is written, you are dead. You get a goodbye post and that is it. Same as the last thread.
Most importantly remember, its a game. Have fun and don’t take anything too seriously.

But feel free to start talking hanging out etc. The first night starts tomorrow at 12pm my time, the first day 48 hours after that. If I haven’t heard from you by the end of the first night, I am going to assume you are no longer playing.
