I’m still in, with one question, regarding the following from MadTheSwine:
I will be out of town for about a week at the end of May and probably without Internet access during that time, does that rule me out?
Dammit, heh. I kept checking every day since RT’s thread ended and never saw a new game starting. Now I do and it seems it’s already closed for new sign ups. Hahaha, ah well, If they open again, I’d love to play. If they don’t, I’ll still happily watch the new game.
So I get home, check my GMail account, and there’s a message that “Werewolf 2” is starting up. Do I want in? Sure! So I saunter over to the thread to claim my spot, and the thread is already on Page 2. I check my email; did it come in over the weekend and I missed it? No, the email was sent just 3 hours ago, and the thread has only been open since this morning.
It’s really too bad that nobody is interested in this game.

Hmm… that raises an interesting point. Most of us will immediately be inclined either to DISTRUST players who were werewolves last time, or to TRUST them because it seems too obvious to make them scum again.
Of course, the simple fact is that they’re probably as likely to have a mafioso among their number as any similar-sized group who were townies last time, or who are brand-new players like meself.
One interesting tidbit, though, is that the last few weres probably have a lot of insight into each others scum styles, and would be uniquely qualified to tell based on little information about the others. If only we could trust them to tell the truth about each other.
I’d like to go again as well, especially if I get to be something other than a plain-vanilla townie.
