Okay, I cast my vote for One and Only Wanderers, 'cause I don’t wanna die.
Suburban Plankton makes some very good points. Vote JSexton.
unvote Richard Parker
vote Miller
nice bandwagonning
That wasn’t a bandwagon. Miller voted for the only candidate who had as many votes as he did, trying to save his life. Self-preservation doesn’t count as jumping on the bandwagon.
As Jsexton says Wow! Another vote for someone who voted for you.Though I see why you did it,trying to save your hairy neck.Yet,Miller does only seem to pop in when things aren’t looking to good.
Just as an aside; could I ask please that nonplayers not post strategy? I’m sure it’s interesting to have a go (and that is the idea) but if people chime in with advice it effectively means you’re an extra townsperson that can’t be voted for; you’re kinda making the werewolves have a harder time of it. I did make the teams balanced, so would you mind not tilting it?
I don’t think his points hold up. Why didn’t JSexton switch votes to me and then try to get me lynched? Nah. I think he’s just loud.
Wanderers is a mighty suspicious character. Vengeful. Like a creature of the night!
What does it mean, “tiliting in”?
You’re just trying to confuse us! Lynch him! Lynch him!
Another recap of the total number of times people have been voted for (unvotes not deducted).
Mennochio 7
jsgoddess 7
Jsexton 7
One And Only Wanderers 6
Miller 6
Everyone else has been voted for two or fewer times since the beginning of the game.
Given the recent events, plus the points made by myself and others, I think I have to vote for One And Only Wanderers.
Revised recap:
Mennochio 7
jsgoddess 7
Jsexton 7
One And Only Wanderers 7
Miller 6
Maybe we’re extra werewolves who can’t be lynched.
and yes, I’ll try to keep my kibitzing to a minimum, and as far away from strategic advice as I can make it.
Self preservation’s a tough instinct to overcome, and it’s at least understandable. Right now I see JSexton and Wanderers as two sides of the same coin. I’m not entirely comfortable with them, but I’m willing to give 'em both another day, at least.
For right now, it looks like it’s going to be between Wanderers and Miller. I’ll give Wanderers the benefit of the doubt, but Miller’s keeping too low a profile for my tastes.
Lynch Miller!
As an added bonus, taking out Miller might help with our recent jelly donut infestation.
ooo look at these votes a-flying! I’ve decided to bite the bullet and cast my first vote.
going with
One and Only Wanderers because a. I’m suspicious and b. The out come will influence my view of JSexton…
There, that wasn’t so hard.
Some random thoughts about some not-so-random people…
Regarding **Miller **v. One And Only Wanderers: I’m just not getting all the suspicion flying around either one of these guys. Miller’s biggest sin seems to be that he rarely posts, jumping in only to cast an accusation or to say “I’m right here” whenever someone complains that he’s never around. The prevailaing opinion is that he’s a werewolf who’s laying low to avoid suspicion. I would think that if he really *was *a werewolf, laying low to avoid suspicion, that he would have rethought his strategy by now. I can’t quite figure out One And Only Wanderers’ strategy, which at this point seems to consist of voting for people at random, or because they previously voted for him. It doesn’t seem terribly inspired, but neither does it strike me as particularly sinister. Either way, I’m not getting any lupine vibes.
**dnooman **seems to have some trouble making up his mind. By my count, he voted for Miller, then changed his vote to JSexton, then unvoted JSexton, only later voting for One and Only Wanderers, and then finally switched back to Miller. All in the space of an afternoon, in Ceciltown time.
**MadTheSwine’s **actions are a bit confusing. On Day 1, he voted to lynch JSexton. Then early on Day 2, for no apparent reason he comes out on the side of “Boss Sexton”, and the two of them start the ball rolling against One And Only Wanderers. Since I’ve already made known my feelings about JSexton, I’ll leave any further conclusions as an exercise for the reader.
Bolding mine. This part is incorrect.
What’s up with your selective bolding of names?
Well if you figure that out, you’ll know everything.
You are correct, and I apologize. I’m trying to keep my own tally of who’s voting for whom, and I misread my own notes.
Originally, I had bolded all instances of names, but that was just too much. So I decided to bold only the first instance of each name, like you would see in a newspaper article. Upon review, I failed, bolding **JSexton **twice.
It’s neck and neck between Miller and One And Only Wanderers! Anyone want to place bets?
As I recall, you voted for **Menocchio **yesterday. Tell us who you’re betting on today, and I’ll think about it.
I did vote for Menocchio yesterday. Today, I haven’t decided yet; they both look equally suspicious to me. It’s also possible that they are both werewolves, and are trying to sacrifice one to make the other look good. It’s risky to take such a strategy so early, especially with the Alpha already gone, but it might be a desperation move if they think one of them is going to hang no matter what.
