Kinda hard to explain. I guess it’s based on my reading of their posts so far, and hunches. I also trust the judgment of some of the other voters, but I won’t say who because I don’t want to get them into trouble.
Well, in that case I’ll move my vote to who I think is most suspicious.

I think that trying to link to unrelated people and using that to build a case against both of them is scummy. It reinforces the decision to lynch november without building any case and it smudged Daphne for no reason which can leave feelings to bias voting later on.
It only Day 1 so I don’t have a strong case but its only a test at this point we can still back out on the lynch.

Must we all unvote November if he/she doesn’t show up and gets subbed? I’ve only voted them for testing at this point, but was pretty much figuring to vote for their lynching as well.

Well, whoever replaces november hasn’t been lurking so why would you punish them for something they didn’t do. If picking november was a truly random then I guess keep it where its at but I don’t think you can give november’s blame to whoever is replacing him.
If there’s a chance that november will get subbed out at the end of the Day (Friday Feb 20), then I think we should not vote to testerizeify, as that would be a total waste.

I’m really not sure what’s wrong with my math. Let me walk people through it. We currently have 18 players. Assume four mafia. I say not killing once (either today or later) makes sense. Currently we’re in column A. If we didn’t kill then we’d be in column B, starting tomorrow with one test result and one less villager.

Re: who to test.
Daphe seems to be responding very strongly to any suggestion that she might be suspicious and acting rather…high strung about all of this (note the fairly random attack on Seeker and the very high post count). I think that makes her the best target for today given that november is being replaced.

I’m not ‘very strongly to any suggestion that she might be suspicious’, I am answering people’s vague attacks. It is not pro-town to just sit around and let people attack you for no good reason. I’m the only person who’s being attacked, really, and the reasons are bad.
My attack on Seeker is not random – I was very specific about what I thought was scummy in his/her behaviour. Also, Seeker, why did you go after Justin_Credible (for saying I might be ‘hiding in plain sight’) and then basically use the same reason (except even vaguer) for going after me? That doesn’t really make sense.
And it didn’t occur to you that I have no idea what I’m doing? Everybody knows this is my first game, ever.
I see that everyone is overly suspicious, here, and I understand the reasoning behind that, but damn, I’m just trying to play.
Truthfully, I think it wold be helpful (for me) if I were to die now, so I could watch without being invested. Or maybe I need to stay in the game to grow a thicker skin. Anyway, Daphne, I’m almost positive you’re scum. Just a feeling. I’d bet money on it.
Daphne is kind of reactive, but I was that way too when people falsely (or…not falsely) accused me. It was definitely my knee jerk reaction to go after anyone who voted for me, but I don’t do that anymore.
Then again, as others point out, she has played before. So, hmmm. Then again, Seeker has never played before so I shouldn’t be hard on her either. Though maybe we should just take the whole who’s a newbie and who’s exp thing out of the equation, because this could get crazy.
Honestly, you’re both being defensive. So far I don’t think it means anything. I definitely think we must test someone. So far, might as well be november.

I don’t think so. IIRC, pedescribe said november would be subbed out by the end of Day One, meaning (if I interpret properly) we’d be testing november and lynching someone else.
And I think I’m firmly in the camp of testing and lynching the same person.
Eh, it’s better to go after the most suspicious person, now that the lurker issue is resolved. I think it’s daphne because she’s generating a lot of dissension for someone who is experienced enough to know that suspicion in the air is normal. Testing and killing november’s replacement would effectively be shooting at random.
