I hate to say it, but methinks Freudian Slit is not long for this earth.
Vote Freudian Slit
As far as the Testerizer colors go - that throws me for a loop. Green/Red are primary colors, while Aqua/Teal are… not. This Testerizer may be way more complicated than we hoped.
Uh oh. I’m just a simple country boy, reaping my cows and milking my cornfields; aqua and teal give me the willies.
That machine seems to be mighty complicated.
It demands a human sacrifice for us to understand!
Why? If we keep going the way we are we’ll eventually figure out the machine. We just need to be sure we’re testing the scummiest person and not just looking for confirmation.
Yeah, Oredigger, I agree that that’s what we should do. If we can agree on a scummy target everytime by half-way through that would be great. I didn’t mean to imply that we should never lynch whom we test.
I just am not sure it’s been good to have to do that in half the time.
I still think she’s a rancher like she claims, but I guess the machine is forcing us to find out how it works. Either way, it will definitely give us some information.
We’ll find out for sure in 3 days, but I see only three potential results
FS was an ordinary rancher
If that’s the case, then the Testerizer is almost useless to us at this point, and our entire focus should be on ferreting out the scum, and testing is an afterthought.
FS was a wolf
In this case, we decide early who’s scum and test, and lynch based on test result (if test comes back Aqua/Teal, lynch. If not, lynch the next scummiest)
FS was a rancher w/ a power role (assuming that’s revealed by mod at lynch time)
In this case, not sure what we do, but I don’t think we abandon the “lynch who we test” in this case.
I can see no conceivable reason why FS would claim rancher if she were a farmer, none at all, so don’t include that possibility in the above.
Er, wow. I’m as shocked as you guys are. All I can say is that I am a rancher, and I have no idea why the Testerizer is so wonky.
And I really hope you guys don’t try to lynch me, but if you do, it’ll be a big step towards showing that the Testerizer is not to be trusted. Or perhaps not to be trusted as much as we think.
Sorry, FS, but my vote stands as well, as I committed to. It makes no sense for us to do otherwise at this point. If you are who you say you are, then I think it would make sense for us to basically abandon the Testerizer for the time being (still toss people in it, of course, and no duplicates, but not worry about it so much). Perhaps it is just a red herring, after all.
FS, one critical point, do you have any special powers? If you are who you say you are, I’d just as soon know now in case it’s not revealed at your death for some reason. I’m afraid that I can’t let it dissuade my vote at this point, but, it would be very valuable information to us.
