Okay. Since I know I’m a rancher, then I’m fine with being tested. Or testerized, as it were.
And Telcontar’s test-vote for FS is missing.
I promise nothing.
Nothing!
According to pedescribe’s latest tally (I think he counted **DaphneBlack **twice, when one should have been Telcontar), the following people have not voted for Testing (with only 12 hours to go)
**Zeriel **(interestingly, the “aggressive” experienced player)
Mahaloth
Elendil’s Heir
Lemur866
[Undecided] Adrian
Just FYI
It looks like, barring a last-minute shift or concerted effort, that Freudian Slit will be the testee. I am slowly being convinced that Freudian Slit is a rancher, but am not changing my vote. I promised on page 10 that I wouldn’t vote to lynch FS if the test colors were identical to november’s. Looks like we’ll see tomorrow.
Lemur’s been subbed out for MHaye, FTR.
I agree that the argument against Seeker is weak. I’d be happy testing either FS or Telcontar.
I’ll keep my vote as is, I guess. Right now I’m a bit busy, but I’ll get back into it tonight or tomorrow (lower case letters)
Right. Ultimately I fear that Freudian Slit’s time will be short if she tests the same, but no sense lynching and giving the wolves essentially a free night kill (any confirmed town will undoubtedly be a target, sooner or later).
Perhaps it would be prudent for us to discuss who to lynch in the case that Freudian Slit does match colors? (I plan to keep my lynch vote on if that’s not the case.) I’d really like to know why the people on rex’s list haven’t voted for at least testerizer until now; last minute votes are not pro-town, and I think we all deserve an explanation.
Welcome MHaye, and grats Lemur on the new job!
Yeah, and not voting at all is seriously not pro-town. I think we can give MHaye a bit of slack on this one but anyone else who doesn’t have a vote by the deadline will get a big ol’ :dubious: from me.
And needless to say, anyone who doesn’t vote for a lynch, only more so.
If Freudian does indeed match november’s colours, I will be tempted to vote to lynch a non-voter, on principle. Not voting (and in this case, not test-voting) is scummy, in my opinion; it’s scummier than just lurking.
I think there’s something to this. Only about half the people have been actively involved today, and that worries me.
You can take my name off the list, as I did vote rather early and removed my vote just a little bit ago. I’m not trying to avoid voting, and I have been quite involved today(and toDAY).
I’ll vote again now, though I absolutely agree we should not lynch Freudian if she/he comes up the same color as november. In fact, even if she/he does not come up with same colors, we should at least listen to him/her and try to see if there is a potential complication in the pattern(though at that point, lynching will be necessary to determine if that is the case).
vote Freudian Slit
By the way, it is rather disturbing that half the group is not that involved. I’m hoping the wolves are in that half.
I don’t think we need to start discussing the next lynch until after the testerizer - it’s only a few hours now. It may add extra info that helps the wolves (for instance, if we suddenly go gung-ho for lynching the non-test-voters, that might spur them to ensure all of them vote in next couple hours).
For me at least there begins to reach a point where adding discussion before a pivotal event only adds noise to the equation. YMMV.
Yes, but it would be nice if they contributed before the decision was effectively made. next week we will have to think about them.
Sorry. I’ve been very busy these past few days.
test Freudian Slit
lynch Freudian Slit
You’re going to vote to lynch me before the tests have even come up? Good grief. That’s not suspicious at all, nope.
Yeah, no worries. It’s only because nobody joined the original discussion one way or another and a recent summary about people’s actions left it out as well, I was a bit peeved already. It didn’t occur to me that my wording was too ambiguous.
Anyway, regarding the vote: sorry that I waited so long, but I did not have a reason to go for one of the three potential testees and wanted to avoid just piling on without one, hence the question for suggestions.
Thanks for your summation Justin Credible, but I was mainly asking for reasons beyond testerizer mechanics.
Oh well, in that case I’ll get on the bandwagon anyway, hoping that I have explained myself sufficiently.
Test Freudian Slit
Lynch vote depends on the test result, of course.
I’m economical. I can always unvote.

I’m not sure what you mean by not as swift as I think, there was a three was tie as of post #535 by #539 FS was up by two votes. I mean sure the votes aren’t back to back but they were 4 minuets apart how much faster do you want?
You’re voting post quoted Fluid’s entire voting post and then let’s break down each sentence. 1) I agree with Fluid. 2) FS is keen to defend me and was trying to butter me up 3) FS is tentative and made a wishy-washy comment about your experience. #2 is just simplifying a paragraph of Fluid’s and I don’t think #1 is anything but a me too. Number three is new and different but doesn’t say anything. But you’re right you did give more accusations later;
So now it’s a good idea to test FS because you think we’ll gain information from the testerizer. This is completely different from your previous reasons and feels like to me that your looking for any reason because no matter who we test we will gain information.
You’re right my previous post was very similar to a smudge except that I didn’t imply any thing I simply stated that I think your case is bull and that it built momentum quickly. But there is no way to talk about multiple posters without making statements that aren’t backed up by a vote so sometimes that is what you have to do.
You’re right Rex didn’t make a very strong case, let’s face it there are not strong cases yet. But you don’t see the difference between FS said something wishy-washy and we will learn from lynching her and Rex’s noting how the relationship has grown in his eyes? I don’t buy his case but there is something more there then a me too and a sentence.
You’re right and while I am typing this post I realized that Daphne has a much stronger case then Seeker. While I do think early game slips by noobs count a lot, I think that Seeker hasn’t made a second so while I will continue to watch my vote is going to go elsewhere.
