Wet&Dry Hair Detan;gler...How does it work?

My daughter has long blonde hair that has a habit of getting VERY tangly when she wakes up or has a shower.

We picked up some of that “Hair Detangler” and, dammit, it works!
Does anyone know how it works? What is in this magical green bottle???
