While I may not be a huge fan of advertisements, it probably means the Chicago Reader is getting a little more money for this, which is good.

I hope Alphagene is stocking up on his Altoids. He throws the mints away, you know, and keeps the tins in his pockets to collect his used cigarette butts.
Come to think of it, I have an odd compulsion to do the same thing.
Throw the mints away? Uke! There are millions of children in China and India who don’t have fresh breath and you want me to waste these Altoids? After buying the tins, I donate the individual Altoids to both UNICEF to end hunger and to Dream Dresser boutiques as marital aids. Then I use the tins to store my used ciggie butts.
And when the tins get full I just toss 'em on the sidewalk.
