Lil Wayne’s as flamboyant as Lady Gaga on stage (or Elton John for the old timers among us). You couldn’t tell he wasn’t a random schmuck just by looking at him? Colored dreads? Lip piercing? Jewelry? Crazy pants? All that didn’t tip you off that he might be some sort of musician or artist? Average dudes don’t look like that.
Even if you’ve never heard of Lil Wayne, or ever laid eyes on the dude, the flamboyance, the mansion, the champagne, should have tipped you off.
You’re not the audience this rich and famous rapper is appealing to obviously. But that doesn’t mean he can’t play a rich, pampered version of himself for humorous effect in a commercial, just because it might offend you. That’s rock n roll, baby. Those types have been doing shit to offend old stuffers since before Elvis.
