What are the indispensable audio tracks on your iPod Nano?

I just picked up a white 2 GB iPod Nano, and holy Belgium is this thing sweet!, i had a tough decision deciding between the white and black Nanos, and the 2 GB and 4GB model

why did i pick up the base 2 GB model in white?

first off, i have a 40 GB clickwheel iPod that i have all my songs (and a bunch of movies, and a bootable copy of OS X Tiger…) on, that iPod is my primary music player, so i didn’t need the extra capacity of the 4 gigger (and i’m a cheap bastard to boot, but we’ll leave that out for now…)

i like the fact that it’s flash based, no moving parts, (well, aside from the clickwheel and hold switch, that is…), no delicate hard drive to damage, which makes it more biking/skiing/running freindly, and it doesn’t feel as cheesy as the Shuffle, the Shuffle’s a nice little player, but it just seemed too cheap and chintzy for my taste

the colour screen is gorgeous (albeit a little small), and i’ve wanted an iPod with a colour screen for a while now, i just couldn’t rationalize purchasing an iPod Photo/Color, when the 40 works just fine

i also noticed that the black iPod, albeit a gorgeous iPod, tends to show fingerprints and scratches far more readily than the white iPod

so, the base model iPod in white did what i wanted it to, it was basically a non-cheesy Shuffle with a brilliant, sharp color LCD screen

strangely enough, even though i have 10 GB worth of songs on the 40, when i pare them down to favorites, i only listen to about 2 GB of them

so, to get to the point of my post, there are a few audio tracks on the Nano that will stay on it permanently, the rest of the music will come and go, but the following albums will never be deleted…

the original BBC Hitchhiker’s Guide radio drama
The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Tertiary phase
The Salmon of Doubt, Hitchhiking the Galaxy one last time

the below tracks will probably never be deleted, depends on my mood;
Lewis Black; The End of the Universe
Lewis Black; the White Album
Lewis Black; Rules of Enragement

so, given the limited storage on the Nano, what songs have a permanent place on your Nano?

I don’t know yet. But as soon as I get one I’ll tell you.
