Why is it, when it rains it pours at work.? Last month I literally had 0 new clients, and this month alone I have 5 new clients, one who just called me today saying he needs his application rushed and approved because he’s opening up his new business on Monday! Why do people wait so long to get these things done? I am doing all I can to pull this one out of my you know where.
Hm … second anniversary is cotton. Is the latest version of Mrs. Plant partial to practical gifts, or to romantic ones?
I “attended” a webinar today for continuing ed credits, and the silly people actually said right at the beginning that for those people who’d registered with their ISACA or ISC[sup]2[/sup] credentials, they only had to stick around for the first 35 minutes to get credit.

I’m the wrong one to ask about anniversary gifts. We generally ignore our anniversary, altho for the last 8 or 9 years, we’ve gone to a fancy-pants Japanese Steak House because it’s too pricey for ordinary dining out.

**FCD **had a phone interview today - he might be going back to work. If he does, I’ll definitely be more inclined to quit if my coworker pisses me off. We shall see how it goes.
Poke in the rotisserie, fresh broccoli standing by to be steamed, and I’ll see about a couple other sides. Yum! Daughter should be on the road soon - I hope she stops for the night and doesn’t try to drive thru. She’ll be here tomorrow either way. Yay!
Speaking of coworker, tomorrow is her day off, so yay for peace in the office!

Cotton is the traditional gift for 2nd anniv. The ‘modern’ one is China. So, get her an embroidered Chinese handkerchief. 
I don’t know. Get her something she likes but rarely or never buys for herself
I bought the object of my affection on of these for the Holidays a few years ago. It did not work out for us but every time I see her she thanks me for it.

Early dindin is et. OYKW had to eat and run as he has some paperirk to catch up on, poor thing.
Some bad things have been happening in my life lately, but good things have been happening too. I’m finally getting some royalties from all the sheet music I’ve been selling online.

Ha. I was making this joke last week when three bears were hanging around my irkplace. And yes, the schools part is true. One of the schools went on lockdown last week because a bear was hanging around.
