What are you doing instead of watching the Super Bowl?

He seems to be humoring her a bit overmuch. I’d have a talk with him about that if I were you.

My students this morning seem unable to process the fact that, not only didn’t I watch the silly thing, but that I don’t care about it in the least. I keep telling them that there is only One True Sport, and football ain’t it.

In addition to being an astonishingly good guitarist, he’s also a very kind man. :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s underwater Ping Pong isn’t it. I knew I wasn’t the only one enlightened enough to know this.

I keep thinking the OP’s name is corndogdwarf…

One modification, underwater curling.

Wait, was it Saturday or Sunday? Saturday I went to a chocolate-making seminar, then later revised a house plan. Sunday I worked on some stuff, then was ill nad slept a lot. I’m not sure whether these two are connected.

I’m a football atheist.

Welcome home. The curling club is just up the street.

I knew the superbowl was on and was going to watch for the commercials, then I forgot as I was engrossed in a game of Tiger Woods golf on my WII.

Played Borderlands with the SO.

And I did know it was on, but forgot - I only know because I ask my coworker to tell me so I know to go shopping early and not have to deal with all of the Super Bowl shoppers.

You’re right, me too. Baseball’s coming up though!

I went and played kayak polo, like I do every winter Sunday evening. Turnout was a little low - we only had about 14 guys instead of the usual 20 or so.

I like football okay, having played it in high school. But I still would rather be playing a sport than watching one on TV.

My apologies if this offended anyone. I mentioned it to a friend, only to have him mentioned that he lost his father to a snow shoveling induced heart attack ten years ago.:frowning:

We went back to see Avatar in 3-D on an IMAX screen. Totally awesome.

Got home in time for SWMBO to see the last five minutes or so of the game. That’s really all anyone needs to see of a football game.

We went to our first dog training class! Maggiedid pretty well, though she definitely needs more dog socialization. My husband was the only guy there (the rest were moms and kids) - isn’t he terrific? (Neither of us cares much about the game, but it’s usually a nice occasion to get together with friends.)
