Well?
I would like to see New England get beat. (or, if not, at least an interesting game)
However, I have to work, and won’t have a chance to watch it for at least a week. So, I doubt I will.
Driving from the Oregon coast back to Sacramento. Looking forward to light traffic.
Working. And probably recovering from bday weekend drunken jackassery. And catching up on the mafia game here on the dope.
Going to the annual meeting of our science fiction association. I’ve been dragooned into running for president.
We often have a con meeting on Superbowl Sunday, since we usually have nothing planned.
That, plus teach religious school.
The same thing that I’ve done every Superbowl that I wasn’t underway, since the game franchise came out: marathon Civilization campaign!
That’s this weekend? I’ll probably be running errands and doing my laundry, which is what I do every Sunday afternoon.
Role-playing-gaming group. (Marvel Super Heroes. I’m playing Dr. Strange. Fun!)
Curling.
I’ll flip between the Puppy Bowl and the game now and then but mostly I want to get some paperwork done and go through the last of the Christmas cards we got and decide which to keep and which to pitch.
Go to church, I’m the cantor that morning. Get my SuperBowl Sunday pizza from the youth ministry fundraiser they do every year. Bring it home and eat it with my husband. Ride my horse if it isn’t raining. Walk the dogs in the forest. I’ve never seen a SuperBowl and will probably go to my grave without seeing one. It’s an event marked entirely by a pizza.
I didn’t even know the Super Bowl was this Sunday. That’s how much I care.
GetTV is showing a Grizzly Adams marathon. I plan to watch some of that.
Skiing, drinking beer, weather permitting.
Of course, one of those is not affected by weather.
I’m going to a play, but only because I bought the tickets weeks ago without thinking that the Super Bowl was this weekend.
Building a Lego set, I think.
Unfortunately, there is a greater-than-zero percentage of us who don’t care about the Super Bowl, but still like other sports, though. Just try consuming American sports media and not hearing about the Super Bowl. Go on, I dare ya!
I’ll be recuperating from today if things go as planned.
In a few hours I’m attending a crepes/beer breakfast pairing. Three crepes paired with three “breakfast” beers (Founder’s Breakfast Stout is one). Then we will be doing a brewery tour, starting at Helltown Brewing (in Mt Pleasant, PA: zip code 15666) and ending at Indiana, PA’s Levity Brewing. A friend’s bluegrass fusion band is playing at Levity tonight.
After that we’ll head to Homer City (a tiny town named after the Greek poet) and stop at Decadent Spirits, a cool little distillery that makes some great liquor. Last time there we played Jenga till closing (“Y’all don’t have to go home, but ya can’t stay here.”)
Sunday I plan to wake, bake, and relax. If I have a hangover, I’ll have earned it.
