I got my wife a purple zippered bathrobe to replace her ratty old red one.
I am getting her a nice new laptop. We are still determining the specs and where to order from.

Nothing, and I’m getting nothing from him, either.
Usually, we give one another something mostly practical but that we wouldn’t normally buy (last year I got an expensive cooking pot that I coveted). However, we’ve had some really bad stuff go down lately, and we are currently just trying to get through each day as best we can. Neither of us feels very flippin’ cheery, and we’re skipping the entire holiday season.
Bah humbug.
I’m getting him a nice Bluetooth headset, and I asked for an auxiliary hard drive for my laptop. We’re geeks.
StuffLikeThatThere, I understand. This holiday season has sucked.
What is this SO whereof you speak?
Sweetie, you just have to JOIN him. You’ll be amazed at how fast you get sucked into this game. Who knows, he may feel more inclined to do stuff that YOU want to do.

That would be me. I’ll send you a list of stuff I want.
A Nintendo DS
I’ll see your brake lines and raise you a fuel pump, sister! And in case you’re thinking of throwing down with a set of spark plugs, I’ll tell you straight out that I already purchased chrome polish for the cool sum of $125. So there.
Just don’t get the junipers, they’ll die indoors. I recommend the fukien tea pictured, it has little white flowers, can live indoors and is fairly hardy.
I’m giving the wife a nice watch, a pair of gold earrings, a book of photos of the kids that I made and ordered through iPhoto, some stocking-stuffer-y things (we always include some adult-oriented things in each others’ stockings- lingerie, toys, videos, etc), and some stuff that our kids picked out.
The stockings get opened Christmas Eve, and the new “toys” get taken for a test drive after the kiddies are nestled all snug in their beds, visions of sugar plums dancing in their heads. It’s an annual tradition.
Nerd girlfriends are the BEST.
I’ll merge it in with the other one.
I just mailed his gift this morning (long-distance relationship here). My boyfriend’s getting the Clerks II DVD (the one that comes in the Happy Meal-ish box), a T-shirt with the silhouettes of numerous Star Wars ships and vehicles on it, and several boxes of these. And on Christmas Eve, I’m going to send him an mp3 of a mushy love song. It’s a Michael Bolton song, so hopefully he’ll be properly horrified, yet deeply touched at the same time.
He’ll be clothed, fed, entertained, and wooed. Awww.
An iPod Nano - She’s a triathlete, and really needs something for running.
An adaptor that plays the Nano through the car radio (I think it charges it too).
Some earings.
A CD of .jpgs of her last race. I hope to print some out and either have them mounted or in frames by x-mas.
The what tea?
I thought anything with that word in it, had to go into the pit?
Q
Step one… cut a hole in the box.
Step two…
(Actually, I’m single. There might be a connection here…)
How you doin’?
sings…put your junk in that box…
Mrs. Small is getting a digital camera since the one we have was a hand-me-down from my sister when her husband bought her a new one last year. She has wanted one for a long time, and has no clue she’s getting it. I also bought her the movie “An American Haunting” and a book that seemed to sound good. Also, her stocking has a bottle of Honey BBQ sauce from Buffalo Wild Wings - since that is her favorite - and several candies (snickers and nerds!). I also got her a Charlie Brown Christmas on DVD (since she is a sucker for Christmas shows) and a Panic at the Disco CD. We’re having Christmas tonight when she gets off work since we’ve got to run everywhere until the day after. I’m so excited!
Brendon
He’s getting (didn’t I post in the ther thread?) season one of Battlestar Galactica, a nice dress shirt, and an Ipod Shuffle. If I had more money, I’d also get him the complete set of Buffy.
I know he hasn’t done any shopping at all, so I should come up with some things I want. Hmm.
A Hughes Helicopter. Nerd boyfriends are cool too. I asked him to get me a sewing machine.
