What are you going to be for Halloween?

pwnt

Are you shitting me? That’s awesome!

Well, thank you.

Under the shirt.
Over the shirt.
Ready for a night out!

I didn’t wear it with the shirt and jacket last night, though, because I can’t pair it with the arm piece. I don’t have pictures of the full get up from last night, hopefully I’ll get some at the other party I’m headed to tonight.

Well after putting nearly 30 seconds of thought into it, I dug out a cowboy hat, changed into a button-up shirt, strapped on an El Paso Saddlery gun belt with a Bisley Vaquero on my right and a Blackhawk in the crossdraw. No one was going to steal my candy, I promise you! I didn’t have enough .45Colt to load up the ammo loops, tho.

Did get a few funny looks from old guys that recognized that the guns weren’t airsoft, but otherwise I’m afraid most people didn’t even realize I was in costume. :frowning:

As I mentioned in the Trick or Treat thread:

I dressed up as the “business man with no pants”.

Bluetooth, pen, black dress-shirt, tie, boxers, black socks (that went about 3/4 up my leg), and dress shoes.

Hehe. Everyone wearing a poncho and sombrero got asked if they were “Dirty Sanchez” for Halloween. I never get tired of that joke.

I won first place and a hundred bucks in a costume contest as the swedish chef.

It’s so much fun flirting with girls when you’re dressed up as the Swedish Chef. It is, by far, the best costume I’ve ever had. My favorite moment of the weekend is definitely when I swaggered over to a nice sexy Poison Ivy, leaned in real close and said “et hooven bork sklaav’n snet moostach ryden, bork bork bork?”

She slapped me.

Halloween has only picked up in Thailand in the past 10 years. It used to be a club or two might have some sort of Halloween special, but it was largely unknown. One Halloween night in Bangkok years ago, the wife and I were on a bus here in Bangkok when these three young guys got on dresed up for Halloween. Some sort of ghoulish costumes as I recall. The other passengers didn’t know what the heck was going on. Those guys must have spent some time in the West.

Now just about all bars have something going for Halloween. Saw some sexy-witch costumes a few nights ago and skeleton body paint. All sorts of Halloween-themed product ads and radio promotions. Still no real trick-or-treating except for inside certain buildings, such as yuors it sounds like (nothing in ours), but pretty much everyone knows Halloween now.

I was a McCain supporter - cap, pins, flags stuck in my hat-band. It was an … interesting … costume to wear in DC’s Adams Morgan neighborhood. (That’s one of our main nightlife strips). Honestly, though, I couldn’t think of anything scarier.
