At the moment, I’m saving up to buy a nice digital camera.
I sell on eBay and currently use my boyfriend’s digital, but I’d like to have a camera handy. My boyfriend is chipping in about $400 as a present, but I’m trying to save as well. So far, the cameras in the running are:
I’m saving up to buy a laptop. I don’t know why I want one so bad, but I do. I just got a new desktop computer a few months ago, but I am really wanting a laptop. That and a motorhome, I would love to go travelling with my laptop and motorhome, that way I can bring my dogs with.
The DC215 is nice, IMHO–especially since I won mine in a sweepstakes. It was worth about $400 at the time, in 2000.
I am saving for a Visioneer one touch scanner, or something similar, that is compatible with Win XP.
Also saving to buy another Sentry fire safe.
And a repair job to fix the chronic main engine seal leak in my car. The labor will, of course ,cost more than the dang seal.
I am saving to buy a scanner, a new digital camera and a color laser printer (in that order).
For the non-geek related stuff, I am also saving up to buy a garden shed so I get my car back into the garage and enough to pay a landscape gardener/designer to come and look at the backyard. It’s nothing but grass and pool and is tooooo boring.
A Hughes TH-55, Schweizer 300CB or Robinson R-22 helicopter
A Cessna 172 airplane
A house to rent out
A house to live in
Helicopter? Insurance is the killer.
Airplane? It’s been years since I’ve flown a fixed-wing.
Rental house? Home? It’s hard to find one when you’re 1,200 miles away from where you want to buy one!
Rather unambitiously - I’ll save for more RAM for the computer! A computer that believes it only has 28 meg is , um, just a bit sad!
(Although saving up for next 'phone or electricity bill is just as likely!)
