What are your favorite online quasi-unique t-shirt retailers?

I need T-shirts; it’s summer, and you’re not going to catch me in a polo rocking the fannypack. I’m a big fan of online stores like Threadless and The Giant Peach for their t-shirts - they generally offer non-logo, cool design tees with a mix of interesting pictures or weirdo design work. The problem is that the Giant Peach charges $47 per shirt to ship (I exagerrate, but they’re absurdly overpriced) and seems to have sunk into this whole left-coast soul brother bullshit aesthetic, while Threadless apparently manufactures three shirts per size when they put up a new design (most sizes of a decent shirt will sell out LITERALLY the day that the thing goes up for sale).

So what do you like for cool, interesting shirts online? Aesthetic is important; I’m not looking for ironic “Vote for Pedro!”-style shirts, but rather those that represent interesing designers and provocateurs using the T-shirt as their canvas. Hook it up!

I am a geek so I enjoy the shirts at Think Geek. I own several of the shirts. OK more than several. I own 2 dozen or more.

If you’re not quick to offend, and don’t mind possibly offending others, Tshirt hell is the place to go.

I really like the handmade stuff you can find on Etsy. It takes a little sifting, but it’s a good place to find funky/unique/odd/wearable art clothing.

The Imaginary Foundation. Wonderful designs. I have the Silly Walk shirt, and it is absolutely the favoritest t-shirt I have ever owned.

Cool suggestions – thanks!!
