I always liked What Exit’s name when I thought it was a reference to Sartre’s “No Exit” play. Then I found out it wasn’t referencing Sartre at all! I was shattered.

I get a giggle out of Ms Purl McKnittington’s name, and I’m horribly jealous that Mangetout managed to snag such a cool username with such an amusing franco-pun.
As for the runner-ups, I also giggle over FoieGrasIsEvil, despite the fact that I think foie gras can be tasty, you with the face gets more giggling, and even though I read it wrong half the time, Lobstermobster is still an awesome alias.

Colibri, because he reminds me of these hummingbirds who used to come by Mom’s terrace and who’d mistake the clover flowers on a shirt I had for real ones… it tickled! My 9th grade science teacher was extremely surprised when she said that hummingbirds only live in tropical places and over half the ~45 student class claimed we’d seen them here (northern Spain). Colibrí = hummingbird, in Spanish. These ones were the kind called “Colibrí Abeja”, but I haven’t seen any in years, I don’t know if they died off.
Mahna Mahna because I love the Muppets. I used to hate Ms Piggy because I didn’t understand her, but a friend who made perfect use of “who, moi?” finally endeared me to her about 5 years ago.
